4 of those first 5 plays are about as bad as you can play QB.

He finished strongly though, no doubt.

The overthrow of the tight end was one of the worst throws i’ve seen.

Still not sure how that Arkansas DB missed that INT, and the fact it was completed is even more of a head scratcher.

one reads the stat line and says "hey that's pretty good!" but in reality, it's some of the ugliest play at QB that you will see. several throws should have been picked off if arkansas wasn't so terrible in the secondary. but I guess it's not about the process anymore at LSU, just the end result.

I think they need to worry about getting the QB into a rhythm with easy throws early instead of establishing the run.

Etling is a decent QB. Made some good plays, missed some too.

I know this.

If opposing teams placed land mines between the hashes out 15 yards from the LOS that could only be set off by a receiver catching a ball.........no receiver would ever die with Etling at QB.

OK. Maybe one or two would...........in a SEASON!!

Meh... not as bad as some make it out to be. I like the flip to Moreau when he was getting sacked, plus the designed keeper was a great call until the penalty.

Why is it so difficult for LSU to recruit a decent QB ? Honest question.

If he spends 1 minute at any type of pro day or workout along those lines, Guinness will be there to record the record for worst waste of time in human history

This cost us 7 points, because we missed the FG. I'm not sure how you miss a 6'6 TE that high. I felt like the boo birds were about to come out after that pass

The amount if hate towards this kid is unbelievable. He played a good game. He literally had a couple of errant throws in the whole ball game. Get over yourselves and applaud the guy for a well played game. I'm sure at your jobs that you never miss a beat. You're on the money all the time.

I really like the quick throws to Dillion. No idea what Arkansas was thinking on that 3rd and 1, they didn't even cover Dillion. Easy pitch and catch. Probably surprised we came out in shotgun and threw it

He's not atrocious. Atrocious is what we had when Jennings and Harris were starters.

I don't get it. No mention of Dillon's TD drop and Sullivan's at the end? I understand that there were some bad throws, but without the drops he's 13/16 267 yards 3TDs and 0 INTs.

No doubt Etling isn't elite, but some of the negativity is ridiculous.
