I can't argue with this.

I'm amazed at so many media types acting like LSU is 2-6.

I think it is more of them being so amazed at how well Alabama is playing right now. The media generally gives no team a chance of beating them.

Plus, as I think we all know, we have no offense and we are going against maybe the best defense in the country. Can't really blame the predictions.

What about on Saturday night?

You don't think Bama's backs are just as good if not better than Florida's ?

If our O goes into 3&out-on-parade and the D gets gassed .... the gumps will run all night long.

Don't see any reason why they would.

What Danielson said about the 3 elite units really isn't all that bad - its true until we can prove otherwise. I also don't think our offense needs to be "elite" in order for us to win this football game.

Remember everyone had Bama kicking our arse last year as well. I think Corso and Brian Wilson were about the only two people in the country who picked us to win the game.

This is my "logic" exactly.

And Lou Holtz said that the only way South Carolina loses is if they can't find Tiger Stadium. Play the game and frick those clowns.

Bama will not beat us with a one-dimensional offense ... so, I say let's try this ... which Mexican restaurant do they need to go to ?

I'm an Alabama and even I am getting tired of this kind of hyperbole.

LSU's defense alone will keep every game they play close. When the game is close all it takes is a couple of plays to swing it in either direction. This game is going to be close, like almost all Alabama - LSU games for the last several years.

I do think Alabama is the better overall team this year, but again, a great defense is the ultimate equalizer and LSU has a great defense.

This is the stuff that irrates the frick out of me. I get people saying they are unbeatable. since the game last Nov they've beaten everyone by at least 19. Our offense has not looked good this year and after the BCS CG, i get people saying we can't score. But why in the frick do people act like they can move the ball at will on our defense? Even in the BCS CG. It was only 12-0 late in the 3rd. They're offense is good, balance, efficient, but 2005 USC it is not. They might win, they might win by 21 again, but short of defensive touchdowns, I don't see them coming in here and scoring 30 on this D.

+1 for the Gump.

Even he gets it while half of our fan base says we are going to get blown away by 3 TDs

You should never use what Holtz says about South Carolina or Notre Dame to make any kind of serious point whatsoever.

I disagree that Alabama has an elite offense. Better than LSU, no doubt but elite?

Lots of offenses look elite until they play a legit defense. Oregon last year, TAMU and USCe this year.

Yes, they thoroughly beat us in the NCG but we held them to just 5 field goals until the 4th quarter when our Defense was just too gassed.

I don't listen to Finebaum as he just spouts Alabama's greatness and how they could win in the NFL, no one ever so great as Nick Saban, blah, blah.

Danielson is a fantastic in-game commentator. A prognosticator, not so much.

He should stick to the former.
