This is basic logic.

If Daniels leaves, Nuss starts ahead of Howard for 2, maybe 3 years.

If Daniels stays, Nuss starts ahead of Howard for the following 1-2 years.

Nuss is the variable that matters, not Daniels.

The JD5 haters crew is letting emotions turn them into the most irrational of people

Yeah he would still be here if he only had to sit behind Daniels for one more year.

Yep and it’s pathetic melting about a third stringer that wouldn’t see the field for 2-3 years.

That’s a lifetime in college football, we can recruit and get others that might have replaced walker

So, you believe if Daniels had entered the draft, Howard would have transferred?

I don't disagree.

I was always skeptical of Howard's rating b/c of his size issues, and he didn't look great in the bowl. I'm no driver of the Nuss bus, and Nuss has flaws, but he looks light year's ahead of Walker (and still has 3 years left)

Yes, because Nuss still would have been ahead of him.

It absolutely does. His camp has voiced their disappointment in being on scout team and he didn't want to do that a second season.

I wouldn't be surprised if Howard transfer and doesn't start right away, but at least he would only be 1 QB away. He didn't want to be 2 QBs away with no chance to get in.

If it's just Nuss he 100% had a chance to beat him out or he is the next guy up if Nuss struggled.

Again, Nuss is the variable in his way, not Daniels.

He had a chance, but he had to earn it. Nuss appears to just be better than Howard.

Pumpers have a tendency to ignore obvious trends and any factors that go against their narratives. You have to remember that when engaging with them.

Probably not since he would be one play away from being the starter, but definitely the year after.

Who hates JD5? He is just not a good QB. At all.

Only LSU could have 3 big time QB prospects in two years, Howard, Holstein and Manning, and whiff on all 3.
