4 2 yard gains is still not a first down. Round and round we go
LES MILES IS A GREAT MAN!

There is no defending LSU's passing game, or lack thereof. None, nada, zero, zilch. It is a Sisyphean task.

Though, a 3-6 pass attempt on 3rd down is better than 3rd and 10.
Round and round we go. You have more options of formations.
But..
LSU only has 3 formations so there is that.

We averaged 4.7 yds/carry last year. Fournette averaged 5.5yds/carry as a true freshman. Id take my chances with us running it.
Until we can have an above .500 pass completion %, I wont blame Miles for running the ball all the time.
Also, the QB's threw 9 INTS, and fumbled 13 times (thankfully only lost 4), while the RB's fumbled only 5 times (losing only 3).

Miles likes "game managers"
not "Favres" First Int that Harris throws, he sits..and AJ plays forever.
..I surely hope I am wrong...but I do not think so

Is a fricking hack...
Heard him on Bo Bounds show this morning, saying that the good quarterbacks won't come to LSU...kept talking about Shea Patterson. Halfway mentioned LSU already had a another top commit. I am quite sure that Brandon Harris could have played anywhere in the country that he wanted to. In addition, Retig was fairly highly rated, as was J Lee. If I'm not mistaken, JJ was a 4 star also. LSU has gotten highly ranked guys, they just haven't panned out that much, yet. Bo Bounds was eating it up.....he constantly dogs LSU and Miles....it's comical, he talks about the elite seasons that Ole Miss and Miss State had....with their 3 and 4 loss seasons....ha. Also, he had a show a few days ago comparing Miles to Cal......saying KY underachieves just like LSU and Miles....callers were calling in saying Miles only won a few years, and have did nothing since....that Les is more like Tubby Smith at KY....won with someone else's talent, then hit bottom....Bounds ate that up...saying great comparison.....yeah bounds....except for you know, the most wins in the SEC over the past 10 years, 3 West Titles, 2 SEC Titles, 1 NC and another appearance. I hope that we can underachieve at the same level over the next 10 years.

Detillier...
Does the guy EVER say anything that is not patently obvious? Anyone can read a newspaper and say what he says. And he gets paid for his "knowledge".....geez.

What a non-surprise.
