I'm gonna let you in on a little small secret.

Ready?
You can still be a fan of LSU and les miles and not be 100% pro every decision he makes.

Having a qb out there that is there to "caretake" especially when that qb is below avg is a recipe for a 3-4-5 loss season.
It's a fact.
fricking DWI.

How could you possibility know what LSU sets out to do and what they wind up having to do for any number of valid reasons? Are you in on the player, coaches meetings during game week?

It's possibly the 9th wonder of the world LSU is able to land these 5star skill position players here all the while trotting out under center a caretaker who most prob wouldn't get the nod at 90% rest of college football teams.

It's truly fricking amazing.

Many LSU retards said the same about Lee after his first season of trotting out under center. Wonder why this bothers you so much more as when it was Lee you were making up excuse after excuse for his inferior play.

Bc Jarrett Lee is white prob.

And fwiw I didn't refer to AJ as a caretaker nor did I make up his stats from last year.

But don't let me stop you from your agenda playa.

I was watching youtube vids on AJ from last year and if MD is correct-and we have no idea if he is or not-and he's the guy, then if Cam Cameron is the great coach we all hope he is, there ARE ways he can be efficient.

When he rolls out and throws on the run he's more comfortable, has more time, and he doesn't have to put as much velocity on it.

Also the receivers WERE a big part of why we struggled a lot at times. On AJ's pick against Bama watch Dural get eaten alive.

He was supposed to cut over the middle and the throw would have been there. And here's a nice slant pass that was flat out dropped by Dupre on what would have been a 3rd down conversion.

And we all know what a bad night Quinn had.

Point is if we have a coaching staff made up of smart men that want to win they will had to have rewatched a lot more and realized that they need to modify the offense to play to his strengths. That combined with a bruising running game and short high percentage passes to the RB's, I think that we can have a 2010 type season, record-wise. Then-and I know we always say "next year," but in 2016 if gradual improvement IS shown then are we any worse off than in 2011? I think we could be much better than that offensively WITH Jennings by that point if we call the plays they've seen that he can make. After that...we all remember what kind of season we had with a senior QB in his first year starting. Only this one is more talented.

A final positive note, I don't think enough people have pointed out that AJ does have nice touch.

All of that said...

I still hope Brandon Harris becomes Vince Tommy Frazier Young over the Spring and leaves no doubt that he's ready to dominate the offense and the SEC to an unstoppable playoff and championship campaign and completes 25 of 35 passes for 350 yards and 3 TD's a game and LF goes for 160 a game and the Harris-Fournette Pain train rips a new a-hole in the football Cosmos of Kickassia in 2015.

The gunslinger mentally doesn't have much to do with the # of throws/game.

Calling mauck a game manager is absurd. He forced the ball against good competition and turned it over a lot. He also made a lot of big time throws. He wasn't afraid to throw the ball in coverage

This is correct.

I am a Les Miles fan BUT

I am tired of his brand of football. He, imo, is simply coaching to keep his job. That equates to 2-4 losses and poor play from the qb position.

When BH saw almost 0 playing time after auburn last year i knew the above to be fact.

I don't even know how to respond to this.

I'm sure his injury had something to do with it

Isn't he under contract until 2019 with a large buyout if he's let go?

Sorry for posting guys but with Fournette at RB and a stingy defense does it really matter who the QB is? Would you not rather go with the conservative choice here?

Nothing bullshite at all about it.
I deflect from shite.

You try way too hard bro to argue with me.
Furthermore I'll take MD's gosple as true over the sunshine you constantly pump on this board everyday of the week.

You talking about the agenda of another makes me

You do realize that your actions in support of a guy, JL, who had the worse first year as a starter in recent history of LSU football makes your shitting on Jennings laughable and you look stupid?

MD might be a blow hard but I have no doubt Les will be conservative again.

And that AJ will be our guy unless he's forced to switch

So now I'm "shitting" on AJ bc I reiterated what MD said by referring to him as a caretaker?
I've been very non vocal about both qbs for the most part since they've been here.

You really should learn to let grudges go.
Especially 7 year long internet mess board ones.
