He also said Trevor Lawrence was head and shoulders better than Burrow before the championship game and that Lawrence is an infinitely better pro prospect. He’s a gas bag

When LSU and Clemson were about to play in the National Championship game, Dan was on the ESPN set with Marcus Spears and Ryan Clark, and he said Lawrence was playing better than Burrow.

Spears and Clark fell out of their chairs laughing, just making fun of Orlovsky.

He's so annoying and fake when he's diagramming plays, running back and forth. He's just terrible.

Lamar Jackson makes the Ravens an AFC contender immediately. I’m not knocking Joe at all. You do have to recognize that Jackson can completely change a game and win it by himself with his feet. Joe really can’t do that. Jackson is Joe’s age. People forget that sometimes.

my first thought as well. He never ate crow for that either. Acted as if he never said that. frick Dan Orlovskum.

He has been on record as saying that he changed his mind while watching Joe prepare for the BCS Championship. He said that he realized at that time that Joe was wired different. It had nothing to do with physical talent, but that Joe Burrow has whatever Tom Brady, Joe Montana, and Patrick Mahomes had. He had "it". The swagger and the ability to make plays when mere mortals choked as the situation became too big for them to handle.

It remains to be seen if Justin Herbert or Josh Allen has "it". Orlovsky realizes that Burrow has it.

Josh Allen being 25, makes him 25 or under, if you would’ve took 3.6 seconds to read whole post you wouldn’t have wasted 1.5!seconds to look it up

I remember pencil neck Dan talking a bunch of shite about Joe Burrow and saying how much better Trevor Lawrence was in 2019

Y’all are fragile as frick. He never talked any shite and just said Trevor Lawrence was the best college QB at the time. We disagreed, Spears disagreed, but this was just a matter of opinion and there certainly wasn’t any shade thrown at Burrow. And dude’s been singing his praises ever since.

Why are fans so offended when their guy isn’t one man’s favorite?

I agree that burrow is in the discussion but I find it hard to say I would take joe over josh Allen .

No doubt Joe and Josh are going to be two of the top 5 QBs over the next decade in the NFL.

If Josh Allen is 25, then he does not fall into Orlovsky’s category of “QBs UNDER 25.”

That dipshit is quickly moving up the rankings for idiot ESPN analysts. I get it, they have to have people who move the needle. He’s the new skip bayless.

Agreed but Peyton Manning still the GOAT of QB commercials.

You are correct. I loved his commercials where he would show up in some random place (bus stop, grocery store) in a robe and slippers

That's fair...but no way I take Tom Terrific right now over JB or Justin Herbert...hell, Tua looks amazeballz considering a poor line and 1 real receiver (Waddle, a frickin rook)

Mahomes has looked a tad bit off lately but he can still make throws that shouldn’t be possible. I’d say:
1. Rodgers
2. Mahomes
3. Burrow

After that it gets dicey

,

I really like Lamar Jackson...he's got a better head on his shoulders than half the QBs (prolly 85% of NFL) and is a dynamite athlete, but his accuracy DWINDLES at 20 yards...

Meanwhile, Kyler throws accurate to 40 yards and can haul arse, too...not sure his decision making is better than Lamar, but it's certainly OK.

JB is dumb accurate to 40 yards, can see the whole field 95% of the time and feeds on any weakness the D has...

I'm not saying JB is head/shoulders better, but they are neck and neck.
