Dan orlovsky on joe burrow this morning on Get Up

Dan just said that he thinks burrow is the 5th best quarterback in the nfl today. He also said he thinks that the bengals have the best 3 wr group. Essentially saying he would take chase, Higgins, and Boyd over cooper, lamb, and Gallup in Dallas or at least equal.
He said , and has been saying, he would take joe over every other qb under 25. I agree that burrow is in the discussion but I find it hard to say I would take joe over josh Allen . I’m not sure Allens age, so I guess I mean in the top 5 overall discussion,Especially with Allen getting better every year , or at least staying as good as he was last year and gaining experience . Allen was so good yesterday too, his arm strength and athleticism was on full display.
I’m not sure if i have them in the order he said them or if he meant to put them in the order he said them ,but the guys he named were, Aaron Rodgers ,tom Brady, pat mahomes, Matthew stafford and then joe burrow.
The first three names aren’t arguable, there isn’t a case to be made to put burrow above the first 3 names. However, stafford has showed some faults this year and one could argue that he’s equal to joe. Like I said earlier, I love josh Allen as a player ,I believe you have to replace Stafford at 4 with allen. Then it’s close between joe and Matt. I feel like we’re forgetting someone though

He was saying he would take joe over Justin Herbert, Rex Ryan said he would take Herbert.
I just feel like it’s a personal preference thing between Justin and joe.
I mean , it’s whatever you value more. Would you rather have a top 3 qb in arm strength or a top 3 qb in accuracy/ball placement and leadership.

The scouts and coaches love arm strength, but Drew Brees already proved you don’t need an elite arm to be a Top 3 Qb in the league.

Really? I think he may have picked Clemson in the natty, but he’s been higher on joe then anyone in the media. Almost to the point that he likes him more as a player than lsu fans do.lol
After like 7 games of joes rookie season he said that he would take joe over all young qbs including deshaun Watson and that’s without any off the field consideration.
If you get defensive about an analyst picking you to lose to Clemson when they were rolling then that’s being a bit sensitive. Plus he said pre draft that he would take burrow over Lawrence if they were in the same draft

He also said that Notre Dame was a better job than LSU just last month.

They must like accuracy more then, because all the scouts had him as the top qb in that draft

Josh Allen is 25. So he’s not in the same group as Burrow. So you spent a lot of time making a stupid post that could have been avoided by a 1.5 second Google search.

So, does that offend you? I don’t think that’s a hot take by any means. Notre dame is one of the top programs historically but it’s easier to win here.

One of these days some of you might wake up to the fact that all these guys talking on TV are nothing but actors reading their scripts. Nothing more, nothing less.

I was the one saying I think Allen should be in the top 5 over stafford and that if Allen’s 25 then I’d have a hard time picking between joe and josh.

So you think they said, “hey , Dan , say that burro is a top 5 qb.
They don’t tell them who to say they think is good or isn’t good. If it was scripted then they wouldn’t be agreeing with each other so much

These shows are fake and scripted…like the NFL. No one should take any talking point seriously because it is fake news.

Maybe on those debate shows they ask them to disagree or something, but a lot of the stuff is too hectic to be scripted.
