Josh Allen is 25. So he’s not in the same group as Burrow. So you spent a lot of time making a stupid post that could have been avoided by a 1.5 second Google search.
Well done.
Dude they are both 25, Josh Allen is 6 months older than Joe Burrow

I don’t get why people think it has to be scripted. Sports and politics are two topics that literally any opinion you have there is at least some group of people that are very passionately against that opinion.

For the record I can’t stand the debate shows and agree they have some times where they probably are told to disagree with the other person they debate.
I’m just talking about the show get up. It’s only good on Monday mornings when they recap the games and it’s mainly because of Rex Ryan being on the show . I can’t watch it for long because Ryan Clark is so fricking dramatic and attention seeking that its rediculous

Arm strength comes into play in year 15 through 20. Burrow has a stronger arm compared to Brees to begin with.

Insert “Lamar Jackson is younger than Joe Burrow” that ESPN used to throw out a lot.

It may not be scripted 100% but there are staff meetings before the show where they go over every thing that will be discussed. So there is no real "winging it" per se. I mute any time DO comes on, as all he does is talk loud & louder to draw attention.

If the Bengals start pulling a Dallas and continue to invest in OL over the years, Joe Burrow will have a hall of fame career easily in Cincinnati.

I think the people who think that are the ones who have never watched them.
I think people are assuming that all the shows now are debate type shows.
The debate shows with Stephen a and skip are probably scripted to the point of just telling them to act like they really feel strongly about a topic and to make sure they don’t agree on the topic.
But the shows like get up and like mike and mike back in the day, aren’t scripted. They have no reason to do that. Especially on mondays during football season, they agree about the games they recap a lot more than they would if it was scripted. Plus with rc on there you never know what crazy shite he will say . The same with Rex Ryan, he’s way too brash to be reading a script

If course they know what everyone is going to say. They have to have the b roll ready to go and they need to make sure they are getting their point across and it all flows nicely. But I believe the opinions are genuine opinions.

Well of course. When people say scripted, they mean that the directors tell the host and analysts exactly what to say.
That’s not true though
Everyone knows that they have a meeting discussing what the topics will be . Hell they tell you what topic is coming up constantly

A lot of people seem to think Burrow is 22/23
Higgins, Chase, Boyd is a fantastic 3 receiver set with All Pro Joe Mixon and a very solid TE in CJ Uzomah.
The offensive line is improving and probably 1 player away from being labeled "good"
Taylor loves to have Joe throw so he has the perfect coach for him as well.
Joe has certainly ly pushed his name into the top 10 of current NFL QB's but I'd think Allen is ahead of him still and then it becomes a toss up between Hebert, Burrow, Stafford, Dak, etc behind the top of the list. Really just depends on preference of a player as they all have their strengths

I agree that burrow is in the discussion but I find it hard to say I would take joe over josh Allen .
Get back to me in 3 years after Cincinnati builds an OL around their franchise QB and Allen is less effective with his feet because the Bills don't want Allen tucking the ball in and taking off every opportunity with his $51 million cap hit.

The only reason I listen to DO when he’s talking about the bengals game is because of how much he likes joe.
Posted on 12/27/21 at 9:09 am to LSU82BILL
The Bills offensive line is not that good, they are better but not by much and his skill positions players are way below what Joe has.
Posted on 12/27/21 at 9:11 am to Tigerpride18
These types of comparisons can be so hard to do because each player's team and offensive scheme is different. You have to try to imagine how each guy would do if you swapped them. For example, you put Burrow behind Buffalo's o-line and Allen behind Cincy's o-line ... now who's better?
Posted on 12/27/21 at 9:16 am to LSU82BILL
Oh definitely, I was just saying today, at this moment , it would be tough to choose one over the other.
Could y’all imagine how bad joe will shred teams if his o line gets upgraded with a couple of hits on players in the draft? Also, in free agency they are at the point where they can put all of their money towards the line .
I watched that last game on YouTube just now. Joe is straight up checking to a different play, constantly. The ball was coming out as soon as it could be thrown on a particular route. Idk if I’ve ever seen a qb that knew where he was needing to go with the ball and putting in the perfect spot so consistently.
He’s absolutely on fire right now. Dude has terrible luck when it comes to ints. If the damn line was just a little better and if he wasn’t so damn unlucky with interceptions, then we’re looking at a potential mvp season

Really? I think he may have picked Clemson in the natty, but he’s been higher on joe then anyone in the media. Almost to the point that he likes him more as a player than lsu fans do.lol
