Pretty impressive to field one of the worst linebackers and one of the worst safeties we’ve seen in a very long time for two straight seasons.
How in the hell are Clark and Harris the best options at their positions?

That’s like saying an outfielder in baseball fielded a lot of opponent base hits with no errors.
shite.
shite.

He obviously misjudged that, and thought Brown was going out of bounds. He may have been thinking about avoiding a late hit. I'm not sure. But you watch Clark throughout that game. He leaves no questions about effort. I'm sure you dumb fricks will do a GIF for all the plays Clark makes this year. It'll take a lot of effort because he's going to make a lot.

We could put him at RB but he’d probably miss the hole.

shite.
Many of Clark's tackles were only made after he made an earlier mistake that allowed the play to succeed.
It's more like saying the outfielder held the batter to a double after booting a fly ball.

Sorry, but I don't think there are going to be any holes this year.

Yup, plenty effort…. chasing after the ball carrier because he was yet again out of position and easily blocked cause he can’t fight through one to save his life.
Either you’re a relative of his or blind.

He did show his speed running down running backs that he couldn’t stop at the line of scrimmage.
He really is an unbelievable athlete. The last two years have me wondering if he’s playing on the wrong side of the ball (a 6’3” 225 lb RB).

Maybe he should think about being a bodybuilder and not a football player.

Maybe he’ll be the one to end the #18 tradition. It’s a silly tradition at this point.

Good news: "He did show his speed running down running backs..."
Bad news: "that he couldn’t stop at the line of scrimmage...."

I'm pretty sure I'm guilty of extrapolating too much and reading too much [between the lines] here...
but I read this as lack of leadership due to the fact Clark believes this because of the stats, not the net result for the team.
Here's where I'm probably, and hoping, I'm extrapolating too much...
If this attitude/viewpoint is widespread, we're fielding 11 players on the field; not putting a team on the field.

He's not a middle linebacker, and never will be. You either have the mentality and smarts to play the position well or you don't, and he does not. He needs to bulk up a bit more and go be an edge rusher.

I have rewatched the game and Clark is without question the biggest liability in the running game. Doesn't fit holes, shuffle sideways, doesn't even try to get off blocks. He is just bad. Sorry if that hurts your feeling because clearly you are close to him, but running fast and chasing down a RB doesn't make great effort. Also I saw him loafing more than anybody in 2020 and UCLA game.
