There's a pretty awesome 15sec video of a trooper coaching a witness to make sure his statement coincided with the report they had drawn up.
No, the LSP video showed that it was consistent with the statement the witness gave originally. He was simply having him it wrote it down in a written statement.

Wonder what the family of the innocent dead person thinks of all this.

No idea. But it looks f'cked up. Like, bad policing. And it could be completely innocuous. But now some lawyer is going to have a field day with everything connected to the investigation. (as he should)
That’s what I was thinking. Like obviously lacy was gone, maybe everyone had said the same thing and he just wanted to make sure to get that on everyone’s report.
But you’re right…it definitely looks bad, and to anyone with not much knowledge of the situation you’d think it was a smoking gun for a set up.

What? You think it looks like a setup because he's repeating witness statements back to them to clarify before putting it to paper?

You really have to be an idiot to think an attorney is not going to skip over the parts that make his client look guilty.
So many people bit on that shiny hook, some are still caught on it. He did a great job.

He really did. That muddiness in the public space is all he needs seeing as this is never going to trial.
Within a year or two he will probably be touting his "exoneration" of Lacy to potential clients.

If Lacy had never played for LSU would these people still defend his actions in this accident he caused? Probably not.

What's most disgusting is how KL immediately drove through/around the accident to "get away". What a low life POS. To squeeze around a head on collision that YOU caused speaks LOUDLY of his low character.
He's one of those idiots... drive like a maniac and then take no accountability when your negligent actions cause harm.

Posted this in another thread, but i’ll add here as well. Idk if this opinion has been stated before, so I apologize in advance if so. I feel like Kyren wasn’t the cause in the manner they make it out to be. He for sure was doing some illegal things and that if he hadn’t been, then mistakes made by the drivers overreacting wouldn’t have had the opportunity to happen. But sheesh man, the woman who impacted Herman Hall has to somewhat be in question also. We find out the gold truck never even braked and even if he did, how is the reaction of this woman to swerve into oncoming traffic. If you’re trying to avoid being hit head on by someone 70 yards away, you don’t swerve into oncoming traffic of people 10 yards of way and still hit someone head on. This woman has a duty to still even in panic operate her car safely. Once again we can theorize that Kyren just driving in his lane would have avoided the whole mess but still.

That and the video of the police officer coaching the witness on what to include in his report is damning. The only thing my minds eye could see that would make it less so would be if there is video prior to that of the witness giving their account of what happened and the officer just reminding them to include that in their report. If not, this is not a good look at all.

You guys are still letting the defense attorneys convoluted version of events shape your opinions.
Be better than that

There was no coaching guy. Officer told the man to write down exactly what they discussed earlier when he gave a verbal statement. Stop trying to make this something it isn't. The truth isn't always comfortable. A man died as a result of Lacy driving wrecklessly and way too fast. He passed 4 consecutive vehicles in a dbl yellow zone

The minority people on social media that 95% of them say that he still did not cause crash show what's wrong with the world today.
Absolutely no accountability for their actions

Did she swerve into oncoming traffic to avoid the truck because of the Dodge Challenger? Yes.
Alright here’s the big issue. This belief. Explain this one to me and how that is remotely true.

Why did she swerve into oncoming traffic? Because the vehicle in front of her slowed down and pulled halfway off the road to the right side.
Why did the truck slow down and pull halfway off the road? Because a vehicle was driving recklessly and approaching head on to the truck, in the wrong lane.
If you can’t understand how this sequence of events starts with Lacy (the car driving recklessly) I cannot help you.

There is so much willful stupidity flowing from this story, it saddens me.

I’ve for sure fact is trying to follow this wreck on social media is near impossible. I just did a look at the actual report and see now what happened.
The lawyers video definitely had me and others confused as it looks as though he was going around the wreck. But after seeing everything, him going around is what looks to have caused the others to panic.
That’s an issue also as the lawyer did a great job of muddying up the water for everyone that hasn’t gotten very deep into this.
I hate clips and every time you only get bits and pieces
They have a ton of information going around that is way off base from what I see

I think the fact they threw this whole thing at Lacey is where most are pissed. Was he driving a little fast? Yes, for sure. He went around some cars because of a wreck in front of him.
The cars on the opposite side didn’t they did and had their issues. I think this whole thing can be put on the root cause being the original wreck that everyone tried to avoid.
Bro what? There was only 1 wreck and it happened less than 3 seconds after Lacy passed 4 vehicles, including an 18-wheeler, on a two lane road.
Lacy wasn’t “just passing some cars because of a wreck”. He was passing several cars which culminated in a wreck.
