Uhh the arena was like 75-80% full but okay
I didn't realize we had gotten to the point where we are patting ourselves on the back for only having 1/4 of the PMAC empty.

Its because of the lack of a good student section. Put them back on the sideline

Auburn wasn’t crazy until they built a new arena with the students being moved to the sideline.

I'd say it has more to do with them getting good than the seating. They were crazy back in the Cliff dweller days too.

Not happening. The sections at half court are the only premium seating they can milk

Even worse, there was no crowd response to the terrible charge calls against LSU..

What!? The crowd was absolutely livid on the ones called against Mays and Days.

The LSU marketing department needs to plant “ringer” fans in the student section. Pay them to start cheers, make noise, etc because these kids just don’t have what our student sections of the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and early 2000’s had. Oh and get rid of those stupid cutouts.

The student section used to be on the sideline. It was moved behind the goal because the students quit coming to the games when we sucked.

Students are put in the shittiest seats in the house. That simple.

The prime energy seats are all geriatrics. Impossible to have good basketball atmosphere that way

It's weird because when everything went down with Smart and Wade last year, the place was phenomenal. The crowd was rowdy and united like it hasn't been in decades. It was like back in the Dale Brown days when the PMAC was one of the places to be in college basketball. Strange that there hasn't been some kind of continuation there.

When I was at LSU and was able to watch Shaq, Stanley Roberts and Chris Jackson play it was so fricking great. And hell yeah the PMAC was loud AF

It’s like the students forget what to do from one year to the next. Then 10-12 games into conference play, someone reminds them, and they’re good for a couple games.

It’s starting to get comical at this point.
