Hoping Mikaylah is a late bloomer, expected her to be far ahead than where she is right now in terms of production

Don't know if anyone caught it, but SC lost by 15 to UCLA yesterday.

Never thought she’d be resting on her laurels and content to be merely “good.”

Is she "good"? I mean she can get hot shooting but she's very streaky and seems to go cold against the better competition. She's also out of shape and bad on defense. I think she might have just been an exceptional HS player that has fallen back to the pack in college when surrounded by players of equal ability.

I mean, she put together one of the best freshman seasons in LSU history and won SEC freshman of the year.

Fair, I could be suffering from recency bias. I just thought she would be more dominant but maybe that's a me problem and not a her problem.

Oh she’s having a bit of a soph slump to be sure but I think she’ll work her way out of it.

WTH are you talking about? She scored 40 in a college game at the D1 level for the defending champs as a fricking first year freshman.

Yeah she’s good.

She’s just hasn’t gotten in college ball shape yet.

Look at FJ in year three compared to year one.

She’ll be fine. But it’s been said and it’s the biggest issue. She needs to get in shape.

I was actually at that game yesterday. They had SC down by 21 at half and for a good portion of the game. UCLA is VERY good on the defensive end. Right now, they're the best team. I also went to the Notre Dame vs USC game and Notre Dame ALSO, looks very good. They frustrated Juju Watkins with Hannah Hidalgo and Sonia Citron.
