I’d rather see it in black and white than a AI colored version. Can you post the B&W?
For what it's worth, here it is:

Loved that game. Thank you for sharing.

Many years ago I came across this photo online of Hilliard scoring in that game.
I've always liked it because, just like your photo, it looks like Hilliard has juked every 'Nole defender off of his feet.
Here is the whole game on YouTube
If I have judged properly, both of these photos come from the first drive of the game, where LSU took a 7-0 lead. The play in your image starts at 53:19, and the one in my image starts at 55:10.
Great find and a great photo!

Shows you how far we have come as a program. We were so happy just to make a New Year's bowl.

His cutback vision was the best we’ve ever had here.

Yes. The Dalton & James Gang.
Of the two, James was more highly recruited. Dalton had thighs the size of tree trunks.

James had a solid career at LSU. He was as good a receiver out of the backfield as any I've seen.

Try again. I put in the link again, this time right at the beginning of your play.

Great! The link worked that tome.

You need to get this to Dalton

The Dalton & James Gang was the shite.

Man this is awesome. Great job.

That game (not nearly as close as final 35-40 score) was beginning of the end for Stovall.

Drafted in the second round by the Lions.

I remember his game when we upset Florida in the swamp. Eye of the Tiger was popular at that time, with the high lites.

Almost, those things are spectacular.

quote:Nope. The "Night it Rained Oranges" I was still in TGBFTL.
Yes. That was the Night it Rained Oranges. I was a student at that time and I consider game as the high point of my time in the student section.
We wore WHITE jerseys and FSU wore their GARNET tops.
That was the Orange and Fog game.
The Risher to Martin bomb.
The Semjase Bass Drum Solo in "Big Noise from Winnetka" at Half-Time.
55-21 Final Score. (No, I didn't have to look it up).
