My condolences to Dalton and his family. We were students at LSU at about the same time. It was a very emotional moment on WWL radio tonight when Bobby Hebert broke the news to Jim Mora during an interview.

God heals the wounds he creates?

People said dumb shite like this when my mom died. I was 22. I’m much better now, but I can’t stand when grown arse adults try to comfort other people with their superstitious beliefs.

Those are your beliefs. That you read in a book. If they comfort you then that’s wonderful, but not everyone can just read the Bible and say “oh yeah this seems legit”

frick cancer. He seemed to have his life on the right track. NFL player and Louisiana legend’s son, plays college football out of his fathers shadow and then moves into coaching.

Actually there's a lot more to it than reading a book. If you really want to know the truth, there are plenty of non-biblical sources that substantiate the fact that Jesus was real and that he really lived, died, and came back again. There is more proof that Jesus is who the bible says he is than any historical figure from that era.

Read "A case for Christ" by Lee Strobel. it's also a movie. Well worth your time and comes from the perspective of an extremely intellectual atheist who set out to prove Christ was a fraud. Everyone lives by faith. Atheists live by the faith that there's nothing after death. It takes FAR more faith to believe this creation came from nothing and there's no creator.

If my faith just came from a book and I had no personal experience that any of its contents were true, I'd be where you are.

If I had a cure to Covid and didn't share it, what kind of person would I be? I know who holds the keys to eternity and if I don't tell people, what kind of person would I be? No judgement here...I just care about people.
