This can’t be right. We won’t have any stars next year!

I'm not even sure we'll have any players. Can we field 7? I've done it before.

They have one of the nations best coaches, most of the roster returning, and have hit the portal hard. They just need to land 1-2 arms to be a true national champ contender. But they should be favorited to host a SR and get back to Omaha.

This would as close to meaningless as one can get since rosters are so fluid right now.

I disagree wholeheartedly with burreauxxx and I sense your sarcasm, but baseball analysts predicting LSU as a top 8 National seed before rosters are complete is the equivalent of basketball analysts picking Duke in the elite 8. We are the mostly likely school to get picked in the top 8 every year and honestly I don't think it's even close. We are "The" baseball school of all schools.

With so much unknown because of roster shuffling “predictions” this early are really just teams given the benefit of the doubt. LSU is always one of those teams.

LSU?

We were 2 outs away from a Super, not the CWS.

2 outs from hosting a super, against a team that LSU would've been heavily favored to beat at home.

L.O.L. LSU will not be in Omaha next year. The roster is imploding and there are serious concerns among many close to the program that Johnson is relying too much on transfers. LSU was built on the back of evaluating talent so that freshman come in and contribute right away. Need a couple top recruiting classes dominated by freshman.
