From OOC games to SEC play, LSU will get every opposing team's best this year - we'll be their "World Series".
Let's see how this coaching staff and team handle the pressure and expectations.
No season predictions here, just an invitation to imagine the sights, sounds, and smells of opening day at the Box in 2023...it will be glorious as always.

You're not wrong! I think Stanford lost so we should move into #4 at least. Haven't checked yet!

Obviously all these expectations are not going to help the team in any way, but it's better than the alternative

It seems like most teams with gigantic expectations fall short/never win the whole thing because they press so hard to meet the expectations and every team brings their A+ game to say they beat them. But it sure will be fun to see what LSU can do this year.

Can someone give us the lineup with stats?

LSU is a semi-pro team this year. It's going to be one of the most talent rich years in the history of college baseball. Now, baseball is a strange sport where the best team doesn't always win...so who knows how it should all shake out. With that said, LSU should have a regular season that mimics the 2022 Tennessee team.

Isn't this where you call for rat poison

Their all wrong. Southern Mississippi is going to win it this year for a State trifecta

No it's not. Champions are not affected by that stuff. LSU was #1 in the 2009 preseason and won the natty.

I expect this lineup to have some fluidity to it with a bunch of useable options. Stats can be found on lsusports.net My best guest is
C). Milazzo pushed hard by Brady Neal
1B). Morgan
2B). ? One of the new guys although supposedly Merrifield was a monster in the fall
3B). Tanks
SS). Thompson (the Jayden Daniels of the baseball team)
LF). Dugas
CF). Crews (I feel safe about this pick)
RF). Pearson
DH). Jobert (maybe Skenes but I’m doing a wait and see on how he is day to day against elite pitching. In the meantime give me the guy with 18 jacks last year)
1). Crews
2). Pearson
3). Morgan
4). White
5). Dugas
6). Jobert
7). Thompson
8). 2nd Base
9). Millazo

I think they’re trying to play dugas at second

I could see it, I still think he ends up in the outfield.

Lol at the Milazzo shade, but if the rest of the lineup really does that than Alex doesn’t have to get a hit all year
