Against a normal pitcher, I'm fine with swinging away.

Against this guy, a sidewinder who couldn't find the zone and whose ball is moving all over the place, you should know you're not going to get a driveable pitch on 2-0

Bregman will be ok. The errors are unusual and will be corrected. Pitching will be good enough to keep us in the games.
But if the hitting doesn't get better, we are going to be in small-ball games where a mistake sends you home for good. And you really have to wonder what this does to Raphs psyche. I mean, its gotten so bad that its comical..

Getting tired of hearing this. It's the same for everyone. The mark of a good team is that it can win in any situation, any park. Yeah, this new stadium might play more into the hands of a team like UCLA, but if LSU is truly a top ranked team, they need to win regardless.

Disagree. If it's the 7th inning or earlier and same situation, yes. But now way you don't bunt in that situation.

Given what Rhymes has done all year, if you're going to take the bunt off, I think you absolutely have to get katz moving to try to break up the DP. If you trust Raph to swing away, just go ahead and trust him all the way.

I have wondered how these sidearm guys get this far throwing that way...I mean obviously it just works for some guys but it seems like all I was ever taught as a kid was try to not throw side arm ever...maybe that was just me

Coaching decision lost us the game at the end, errors put us in that position

Yeah, regardless. I don't care if you go down on strikes trying to get a bunt down, that's the right play.

Completely baffling

Agreed completely, with a healthy dose of a shite for brains approach at the plate on the side.

Yeah. If you're going to pull the bunt sign off on 2-0, you best be putting the take sign on

Sorry, not sure how to abbreviate semi and super regionals and now cws. Post season bed wetter? He's had what. One meaningful hit in how many at bats with runners on?

think he's more talking about the bats robbing Ibarra of 2 homers and Stevenson of 1... not really the stadium

TD Ameritrade is the same dimensions as Rosenblatt... like I said earlier in the thread... it's location downtown makes things different and makes it play longer... but the bats in my opinion is the biggest change since LSU's last trip to Omaha

Maybe they'll goto the minor league baseballs next season with the tighter stitching. I know ESPN has been pushing this hard since the Ole Miss series. Apparently they have a sports science planned for later in the week; should be interesting.
