I tend to agree with you. Other than Lange and Poche(Depending on which Poche shows up) LSU really does not have a quality pitching staff that can be depended on game after game. That, coupled with Manieri's pitching merry-go-rounds can cause problems. As far as the offense goes, any negativity is quickly jumped on with the revelation of the great batting average. A good batting average is great, but if you can't consistently hit runs across, then you have LSU's lack of production. You might be correct in your perception of the offense being well scouted. That would make sense. It's a pity LSU couldn't counter it.
