Curiel batting #7 and taking ABs away from him doesn't make sense.

Don't mind line up changes but not this. He works the pitch count.

If WV were starting a righty, I doubt he’d be lower than 3rd in the lineup.

Curiel down , Dickinson down, and JONES UP again may be the dumbest decision that Jay has made all year and that’s saying a lot!

Here is a fact: today's leadoff is 0-2 with 2 horrible ABs. I would take my chances with Curiel.

He's batting .216 vs lefties.

Do you now how bad a .216 batting avg is in college baseball?

What's the long game? Who is first out of the WV pen? How does that factor into things?

Really? But he just hit a lefty. How is that possible?

Doesn’t make it right due to a random outcome

OP is 100 %correct. It is very very stupid to bat one of your best guys 7th. The fact that we were lucky and he had a couple guys on at the time of his at bat is irrelevant. Pearson had a person on base when he grounded into a fielders choice last inning. That part is luck. What you can control is getting more at bats for your better hitters. Hell mainieri even went as far as putting Dylan crews 1st in the lineup in his last postseason as coach. I don’t agree with that but it’s better than batting him 7th. Some ppl lack logic on this board.
