What is that supposed to mean? If you can’t see that WW has the program headed in the right direction and on a fast track, then you’re blind.

I'm assuming the chain is Bahnsen to Dale, Dale to Dickie
If true and I am sure it is considering how tight Dale and Bahnsen are. Woody should fire Bahnsen today and cut any and all ties to Dale.
Let me tell you something, all this shite is 100% true. All the 1045 guys have sources and NONE of them refuted Jordy. Hanny worked for LSU for 15 years and has been in this market for 30, Jimmy has been here for 30 years, Hester and Hunt Palmer work for LSU. They all know Ponamsky, they all know Kent Lowe, Bonnette, and even Woodward very well. This shite is true. I commend Jordy for having the nuts to say it.
Now, the chain likely is Bahnsen-Dale-Vitale, like others have said. Bahnsen is a confirmed soy boy nerd, we know this. But why Dale? Could be as simple as Wade isn’t one of his guys. The Dale-Collis Temple crew didn’t support Trent Johnson one iota(not saying Trent would have succeeded if they did). Trent wanted to do things his way and that soured him to them. That’s why we got Johnny. Maybe Wade and Dale have personal beef, they’re both fiery dudes. Either way, Dale needs to be excommunicated and the compliance dorks need to be canned yesterday. I trust Woody.

"Why Dale"? It'sbeen stated here, numerous by different ranters. Dale holds grudges above & beyond the norm & he is vindictive as hell. Remember when he & Knight started going at each other? Dale came out with this jewel: "I'd like to fight Bobby Knight naked in a cage & may the best man walk out". He called the NCAA, in Sports Illustrated, then a national magazine, "Gestapo Bastards". He reportedly told Smoke, back when Skip & he were just starting to build their dynasty, pure jealousy-induced :"remember I have a black book on all your recruiting violations" . This is just an older version Of Dale. His reasons are not hard to figure out. Bahnsen obviously has someone taking care of him. He & Dale were / are extremely close.

Dale Brown started in a different era, and he probably would have been fired if his career started when Wade’s did. He had a 9-9 SEC record his first season, though that team overachieved and actually beat two ranked teams (Memphis State and Vanderbilt). He had four losing SEC seasons in a row from 1973-74 through 1976-77, and the rumor was he may have been fired after that season had LSU not won two of three on the road to end the season.
The other thing that bought him time was that half of the league didn’t give a shite about basketball. Alabama, Tennessee and Vanderbilt had good programs in the early to mid 1970s, and, of course, Kentucky. The rest of the league, including LSU, didn’t really have the fan bases that cared. LSU’s fan base really embraced hoops when Pete Maravich was around and then once LSU made its run in the late ‘70s that lasted til the early ‘90s.

But what is the motivation for Dale to attack Wade? Could just be a power thing, could be personal beef, could be Bahnsen feeding some “this is good for the program” bullshite. None of it would surprise me.

You guys are hilarious.... odds are Wade never catches Dale Brown. Hope I'm wrong, doubt I will be.
I never said anything about Wade catching Dale. I don't think he will bc I don't think he'll be here for 30 years. My post was about Dale, not Wade, and I stand by it. I think the fact that Dale couldn't take one of the most talented teams in college basketball history beyond the 2nd round of the tournament speaks volumes about his coaching prowess (and I really liked Dale back in the day). Dale also had many, many other colossal fails in games he should have won (tournament and other).
I will also say that if Dale is the snitch he is accused of being, he should officially be persona non grata with LSU Athletics.

I’d rather championships. Otherwise what’s the point. Amazing teams underperforming when it matters... sounds like the football team under les miles. I’m pretty sure everyone would agree they would rather Ed O and it’s only been 3 years. What Wade has done with this program in such a short time is unreal. We don’t deserve him with the shite he has to put up with in our administration and out influences.

It's probably related to Joe Alleva's comments on Wade. "Got some bad recommendations on that guy."
My guess is Dale had a different recommendation for coach. Probably a lot like he did with Johnny Jones.

Brown hung multiple SEC title banners. If you're talking Natties, we've never done it. But Dale came within 2 games...twice.

Makes no sense at all UNLESS Scott Woodward is just trying to fire Wade and hire his own guy.
Woodward wants to win because he loves LSU. I think he realizes he has the best young coach in CBB. Something will have to come out very bad for Wade to be fired. WW is proven he can win and has the fan base excited again. That’s just my two cents

Cool John Brady came within 2 games of it once in 11 years. And won 2 sec titles to dales 4 in 11 years with less talent. I don’t watch LSU basketball to see an sec title get hung. The program can and should be better than that, and with WW we will be. Why even be a fan if you’re just content with the team being mediocre.
