And just to be clear, there was a whole lot more talent on that team than just those 3 superstars. They were absolutely loaded. That LSU team had almost as much talent as the Jordan, Worthy, Perkins 1982 North Carolina team. It is just unreal that they only made it to the 2nd round of the tournament. Dale...smh.

Alrighty tough guy. It took Dale 7 seasons to win the SEC and make a Sweet 16. It took Wade 2. Wade is also 4 year younger than Dale in terms of heading into their 4th season at LSU.
Wade's record through 3 seasons: 64-30 (68% winning percentage. Also a 35-18 SEC record.
That's a 66% winning percentage in the league so far.
Dale's record through 3 seasons: 36-40 (47% winning percentage). Dale had a 21-33 SEC record through 3 seasons. That's a 39% Winning percentage in the league through 3 seasons.
Dale didn't do shite until year 7. Dale won the SEC 3 times in 25 seasons. Wade has won it 1 time in 3 so far after his predecessor left him the shittiest roster imaginable that also went 2-16.
Wade finished in 3rd in his 3rd year despite massive roster deficiencies. So Wade on has to win the SEC 3 times in the next 22 seasons to beat Dale's SEC titles record. If GOAT Wade is here for the next 22 seasons, I will bet you $50k he wins at least 5 more SEC Championships and makes the Final 4 at least 4 or 5 times.

Dale won 448 games and went to 2 Final Fours.... don't let the facts get in your way. Don't get me wrong, hope you're right. I'm for LSU all day, but it ain't easy to get to the Final 4.

Until Dale backstabbed Wade, I loved him as much as anybody. Hell, my childhood was during Dale's glory days. But Wade is gonna average 25 wins per year from year 5 and on at LSU. 448 wins is not that many, ESPECIALLY over 25 years. That's less than 20 per year. I doubt Wade has one year under 20 from here on.

Would Daddy Dale agree to be a guest on OTB? If yes, someone should just ask him about Wade, and not give him softball questions. Doubt Brown would subject himself to a Vitale-esque interview though.

Makes sense. Vitale was ranting about us naming the court after Dale in one of the interviews. Dale pushed Johnny Jones on us and doesn’t like Wade. Explains why vitale has been on a mission to oust Wade since he got here. This mystery is solved boys.
