Sitting for 1x bowl game preserved his ability to play next year. You idiots need to stop acting like that was a selfish and/or bad decision.
I hear ya man. Not everyone can be a Travis Daniels

2019 was the best season of any college team of all time. Ed O gets credit for that. He didn’t leave the program in great hands though. Kelly did good in year 1 and has regressed since. Hopefully, year 4 with Nuss is it.

Set the program back 10 years.
By winning a national championship? We’ve had two Heisman winners since O and only 1 in the 100 years prior. We have been in an SEC championship game since O left. Your current starting QB came in under Coach O and is an NFL draft pick next year. The current state of the program is all on Brian Kelly, not Coach O.

Post 2019 was...what it was. And I really hate when people's marriages break up.
Also, he seems to be one of those who is genuinely himself, and he's had a bit of success. Good for him.

Lol, BK went to SECCG in his first year with a lot of O's players. Stop with the histrionics.
Not only that, but when O was fired, mid season, by Woody he had a full team.
It was the responsibility of Woody and the Interim Coach to re recruit the team. Orgeron was gone.

30 scholarship players with portal is no big deal. See Prime

So having only 30-something scholarship players on the roster had no impact on the program?
Fake news. That was just the bowl game not Kelly’s first season.

I love Coach O as a person. He seems like he’s actually a great dude.
Still glad we moved on from him as a coach. Thanks for 2019 still, absolutely unforgettable

Buffoon made rich by LSU incompetence.
What’s the matter? All that money mommy and daddy spent on your private school not work out and you’re a loser?
Ed Orgeron was largely responsible for the best college football team ever to take the field…..and it kills you. Ed’s success pisses on people like you’s feeling of superiority.

Blind squirrel…. Nut…
You get the picture.

He's a blind squirrel that brazenly proclaimed to the world that he was going to find the most prized nut.
And he did.
We comin'.

And he did.
We comin'.

Let’s ignore the fact he was playing for a conference championship.

This is why O is who he is. He’s always been a man of the people. Always will be. Money didn’t change him for good, although the success of 2019 may have transiently gotten to him.
