These threads are almost as pathetic as the negatiger callout threads after an LSU win.

Fixed it for you.

We fill up Alex Box on a consistent basis so why can’t we fill up the PMAC

No they’re not.
They’re meant to be encouraging and an advertisement to attend. Keeping the game in a thread subject line means more people will see it. If even a few more people go to the game as a result, it’s worth the effort.

There are other ways to encourage and remind people to go without talking shite and making remarks about our coach leaving us.

We do not fill up the box, every game I watchor go to there's plenty of seats to go sit in. I've never had to buy a seating ticket for any regular season game ever.

It's a school night, and we have 4 kids, and work 8-5 jobs. Do you?
We also don't live on campus with minimal weekday obligations and responsibilities.
Don't assume everyone with conflicts are lesser fans than you are. I know we aren't.

LSU is avg. a (I'm sure paid) attendance of ~10,400 per game. The PMAC holds ~13,200, which means LSU is avg about 78% capacity this year.
Lets compare that to Tennessee. A team that (a) won the SEC last year (b) returned virtually their entire team this season (c) started the season ranked #6 (d) was picked to finish no worse than 2nd in the SEC before the season started (e) spent over a month ranked #1 (f) is a likely 1-3 seed in the NCAAT this year.
They are averaging ~16,200. Their stadium holds ~21,600. So that means they are filling their stadium at ~75% capacity.
Now certainly it can't be ignored that UT is averaging ~3,000 more fans per game than LSU. But they were coming off a big year last season (whereas LSU wasn't) and have spent ample time at the top of the polls this year. One would think they would be completely selling out the arena, but they aren't
This is LSU's first big step in trying to rebuild the rabid fanbase they had in the 80's and early 90's. Unfortunately, there have been several first big steps over the last 25 years only for the program to quickly take 2 steps back. You have a LOT of casual fans who have never known LSU basketball as a consistent power. It's going to take a bit of time to get those people to prioritize showing up to a weekday game at 8:00 or 6:00. But the fact that they are getting paid attendance of 78% of capacity is a step in the right direction.

Shut up.
Game is at 8.
People outside of you have children and jobs.
I’ll be there.

Love it when fans who don't attend many games call others out after finally being able to attend one themselves

I'll be there, but why buy tickets from LSU for $20 for level 3 when you can usually find some outside the PMAC before the game for the same price at lower levels?

Tiger BB fans need to step up which wenhaven’t Done yet this season aside from a few games. This is one of the best teams we have ever had and it is unbelievable that we are not selling our every game.

Hmmm. I re-read the OP’s original post, and I see that there was a a bit of a threat involved- “ if you don’t come our coach will leave” sort of thing.
Didn’t hit me that way originally.
So I agree with you.
