Crowd for tonight’s game against A&M

Looks like there are plenty of tickets still available for the game tonight through LSU. It’s such a shame that we can’t pack that place for a 1st place basketball team, this late in the season, coming off of wins against Kentucky and Tennessee. Don’t complain whenever Will Wade leaves for a school and fanbase that supports their basketball program more than we do

You need a perfect storm for LSU sports these days. If it's too late, too early, too hot, too cold, too rainy, people will elect to stay home and watch it on their couch.

Also, how many teams that have arenas the size of the PMac are constantly filling them up? LSU would have no problem packing a smaller number of people into a smaller venue. It seems that the size of the PMac makes it difficult to fill for basketball games, unless the stars align perfectly.

We fill up Alex Box on a consistent basis so why can’t we fill up the PMAC?

The PMAC will be more full than Alex Box was for any of the games this past weekend, and much much more than a midweek game would be.

With games starting at 6pm, it's hard to get people there for the start because of shitty Baton Rouge traffic.
With an 8pm start, some people don't want get home at 11pm on a weekday when they have to get up for work in the morning.

I just hope we get lots of students out. They have been fantastic all season, and our new sports marketer has had a lot to do with that.
The student fans were brilliant on Saturday vs Tennessee. That’s why our players went to them right after the game. They appreciate their support so much.
A student fan base is the core and heart of all college basketball support. They’re the noisy ones, the fun ones (signs, face/body paint, dress) with plenty of energy. What they do at games can influence the rest of the crowd.

Alex Box fills up for opening night, and the postseason.
When LSU baskeball hosts NCAA Tournament games, it will fill up. I know so because I was there in 1986 when it happened.
Oh yeah, coincidentally another couple of LSU victories that sparked rules changes.

I go to many games at al x box. Last year i as hardly ever full. The one gam so far this year was not full either.
