It’s been a while since our fans had sonething to consistently cheer for. For the longest time, the team would play well enough to get a crowd, then blow it once the crowd gotthere. But these past two seasons have started to break that trend. And the crowd is beginning to learn. Tonight’s crowd was great and it will continue to improve as the excitement around this team grows.

I also thought the crowd was pretty good.

I love when threads like this fail.

The last few games our crowd has finally been into the game it feels like! We need to just keep this up now!

The only ones not yelling were the empty seats at the top of the student section. Everybody else, young and old were yelling.

Can we please start banning these fcking threads?

The crowd was better. Big issue is how the crowd is seated, the lighting in the PMAC and how all of that comes across, when combined, to a national audience.

I think people expect it to be like a football game against bama when we are on defense. It’s basketball. You get loud after a big play and some other times but not constantly.

Last two home crowds were very good. CWW and the team are very appreciable. Keep it up

The OP must have been the dork/hero in front of me that was losing his mind at spots when there wasn’t really anything to cheer about and then got pissed when everyone around him was giving him the WTF is wrong with you look

I have been critical of the crowds at the PMAC. Not today. Today’s crowd was into the game from the start to the finish.
Just wish I didn’t have small kids in front of me today. Some of those calls by the refs made me drop some F bombs. Luckily the dad in front of me was cool about it when I apologized.

They did better than me, I wasn't there. I heard them loud and clear on T.V...Great job everybody that went to the game, stop whining like a beetch.

I wonder if the OP was even at the game.

This is how I've always approached it with my kid. shite happens during games and people say stuff. If someone has the decency to apologize to me, then I don't sweat it. I used to just explain to my kid not to repeat it and everything was fine.
Now my kid is 18 and is the one apologizing to people.

Crowd was pretty loud at times, but every time I stand up, I get shamed by everyone in the section for standing up. People don’t want to get on their feet and cheer for some reason. Like someone said, it’s the wine and cheese social. You have to stay seated and be polite.
