Wow you really don't care about LSU basketball. I've always said you care more about Jones than the program in a somewhat tongue in cheek manner but now I'm starting to think it's true

Too bad for Victor. Though it may have been justified, this should clinch a losing season and mean that Jones's LSU coaching career will end after this season.

Is it time to fold up the mens basketball and get a mens soccer team?

Only if someone not named Joe Alleva handles the transition. Otherwise he would just promote the team manager after firing the coach following the new program's relegation to DIII.

Addition by subtraction always works out for poorly coached talent starved teams.

It's over for your boy Daryl.

Alleva's inaction has now resulted in a wasted football and basketball season. Inept piece of shite.

Victor probably told JJ he couldn't coach his way out of a paper bag

If I had a intramural team at LSU I would be calling Victor to come on out

Reply to "Victor not some world beater"

Victor was averaging 10.5 ppg and was the leading rebounder at over 7 reb/game. He added toughness inside and 5 additional inside fouls. With him, CJJ maybe had a chance to retain his job. We will see if CJJ will be able to hold the team together this year. After the SEC tourney debacle last year and 2 huge blow out losses this year, the seat is getting hotter for your guy.

Can we dismiss the two imbeciles named Johnny Jones and Joe Alleva too?

As much as I love LSU sports, it took Les losing to Auburn to get rid of him.

I hate to see us lose at any sport but if losing Victor leads Johnny to losing more this season than I predicted and if it costs him his job, good riddance.

I hate it for Victor but it must have been pretty bad or repetitive behavior. Sad for a kid to blow an opportunity.

Johnny is going to make some asinine statement about LSU being a championship caliber team until he had to dismiss Victor. Guarantee it.

We all know the head coach is a tough disciplinarian. He did suspend Mr. Simmons for the first 4 minutes of a game last yr for quitting school. LMAO
