It sounds bad out of context. What Mainieri was trying to say was about how in a game like this the line between winning and losing is razor thin.

fricking Guilbeau, during baseball season at the end of APRIL, turning it around and talking shite about Miles. What a talentless, trashy piece of shite.

Sounds like PM needs to incorporate the Big Cat drills in his practice to get his team ready to play

Let's remember.....these guys are COLLEGE PLAYERS, not "PROS".......even the major leaguers make errors......and one play didn't cost us the game......

Basically we lost the game because our first baseman didn't keep his foot on the base on a routine play, on a perfect throw.

throw had him stretched to the max. I thought the runners was out.

Ok as a former ball player he was simply alluding to that it is the little things that cost a game. Something as simple as making sure your foot stays on the bag can lead to a run. He didn't say the kid was horrible.

I would say he needed to follow it up with we would have still be tied at 1-1 since he makes it sound like they would have won but at that point they still needed more offense.

Wow! You played ball? That's great. It really gives you special insight!

Look, we all understand what he meant. The way he chose to express his thoughts was awkward and shitty. It's par for the course for him though.

Paul telling it like it is. Too much butt hurt here. Take it like a man and move on. Miles has done same thing and at least Paul will tell us what's on his mind.

Like it is?

He's not even right about blaming Deichmann. That one play isn't why we lost.

Classic Paul.

Sure, the kid made a mental mistake and I'm sure he feels bad enough.

I know this, you won't win many baseball games when scoring one run.

Mainieri should then take the blame for killing the momentum last night after the Duplantis grand slam that had us within one run and put in a struggling freshman pitcher Gilbert instead of his best reliever Hunter Newman.

Bad call. You don't waste Newman in that situation. With a one run deficit, that late in the game, you're probably going to lose no matter what your pitching does. As it turned out, we probably would have won, but CPM had to play the odds.

I don't know how many times I've posted this, but ever since Deichmann started playing 1B and Bryce DHing, I've been calling that a bad move.

Bryce is the better fielder and there's no reason to have it set up this way. Deichmann is taller, yes, but he leads the team in errors from the 1B position. That's horrible.

So not only is PM wrong to blame Deichmann for the game; he's got only himself to blame for putting him there when he could have the exact same lineup but with a better defense on the field.

What? We still had 2 ABs left. That's too late to get a run? Idiot.

You bash Paul every time you get. Ur opinion on this has to be on a personal level. Did he not recruit you? Play you?

It's a routine play. I was told this in little league in front all the parents when I made a bad throw in the 7th to first from SS. "If he makes a better play we win." I took it and practiced. Didn't whine like the weak people do now.

These players play on a top level. Make the routine plays. It's not hard. And it had a big reason of the outcome.

You are being way too kind. GG sux so bad.

Les largely takes the fall for his assistants and players
PM takes the fall for his coaches (Javi), blames everything on his players
JJ is so clueless he doesn't know who to blame

Sound about right?
