I've said that I like CP and if he came in a package with O that he would be a homer. I've never once stated that he was hands down the best. It's my opinion, just like 99.9% of the nonsense that is posted on this message board.

So... basically we get a tweet in which a writer tells us Pendergast is no longer a candidate, but neither is Stoops and now we have 8 pages of panic. Jesus, calm the hell down. It's been a friggin' weekend.
And call it a hunch, but I bet this means Pendergast is getting calls from NFL teams, and he'd prefer to work in the pros. Good on him. He's my preferred guy, but that's also why the NFL would want him. So a bit of bad news, and a bit of good news (no Stoops), and we're all in full Chicken Little Mode.
Turn up the heat on Shoop. Fall back is Ogre and Brick. And yeah, I think we need to hold on to Brick cuz he's the guy likely holding this recruiting class together.

Look at his resume of defenses. Getting good defenses at Vandy and then doing the same his first year at Penn St is pretty good.
