She had a player who wants and likely is the center of attention. She brought in two high profile players to start to win another championship.

When you have the credentials that Mulkey has, you no longer have to suck up to reporters. That’s why she doesn’t suffer fools gladly when dealing with the press…just like any other championship coach.
And I really doubt Mulkey or any other coach gives one flying flip about how much their players get paid as long as they have a team full of winners who win championships.

If you go to the press conference and listen, CKM said at about 8.58 that Angel had been practicing and that she wasn't just going to show up and play. She even asked the reporter if he wanted to know how many hours she's been practicing, but that went nowhere, of course.

CKM has been fighting for women's basketball for decades. Her "attitude" such as the libs see it has been developed over yrs & yrs having to put up with these types pf press conferences. As she put it last nite, she's never turned down a request for an interview unless she physically couldn't make it. How many of the national media have ever asked her? GG certainly has not.
