If things don't get reigned in from the NIL perspective I could see a lot of coaches especially the older ones saying f it, I've made enough money and I don't have to deal with this stuff anymore

Already coaches like K and Roy Williams have gotten out largely because of it

Kelly doesn't make a comment about coaching for 200 dog years if he's not tired of all the outside things you have to worry about although he is paid to deal with it

Same thing with Mulkey and her exasperated interviews coming off a major health scare this summer

Why is Mulkey testy at these press conferences? Because the dipshits at them keep asking her the same repetitive questions that she has already answered and she doesn't have patience for it... very much like Saban.

She is attentive enough to know that people like Guilbeau only show up to stir up shite.


I am completely Team Mulkey on this. The only information that she chose to share is that Reese wasn't with the team. She plainly said "Angel is not with the team. We hope to have her back sooner than later"...which ended up being the truth. She plain as day said she wasn't going to say any more, yet the questions persisted.

When they started grilling her yesterday about how much Angel had been practicing and when she started, Mulkey's response was "What does it matter???", which is 100% truth. For real. What does it really matter?

Maybe she can be a little more patient with the media--but maybe the media can also not be dumbasses and continue to prod into an area where they are not going to get answers.

It's impressive to me that everything that you type out on the board can be as stupid as it is.

She does seem impatient with the media, but I don't think it's about Angel. I think she's older and growing less and less patient with idiot sports writers. And tbh, I don't blame her. Every time she public emasculates Arseface Guilbeau, an angel gets its wings. I hope he continues to show up, be a complete moron, and she continues to call him out in front of his peers. I mean, the dude admitted publicly he wasn't paying attention to what the coach is saying at the PRESS conference. What a colossal disappointment he must be to his father.
