Idk man, if you’re expecting 2 nattys every 4 years you may be very disappointed. I hope as much as anyone else that it happens, but that would be absolute madness.

No, he could win 10 and it would all be on the back of what Skip built from absolutely nothing.

Bro no. If he gets 10 chips he is the greatest college baseball coach of all time and in the conversation for greatest college coach of all time.

I was thinking after we won. What would be as impressive as skips 5 in 10 years? Harder to win now with many more teams investing in baseball. We have 2 in 4 years of coach being there. Would 3 be equally as impressive or would it take 4 in a 10 year span. Not an argument over better coach because Skip built it from nothing into what it is.

Did Saban “over shadow” Bryant? No even though he was better. Skip built the program he will never “over shadowed”

Overshadow? No, never.

Win more championships? Maybe. He is off to a good start, but he is living in the house Skip built. Even will acknowledge that.

Not a chance. Wouldn't exist without Skip.

Jay can win a dozen and will still be playing on Skip Bertman field.

I don’t think this is true at all.

Regency bias and the fact that Saban is still around college football and he's still alive. In 10, 15 years, Saban will probably still be considered the GOAT, but he will still be mentioned in the same breath as Bear and Vice Versa. Neither one will stand alone.

Maybe he could have a statue about half the size of Skip’s

Saban and Bear are a perfect example. Even today when you step on Alabamas campus, you feel the ghost of Bear Bryant. Saban continued the legacy. Same for LSU baseball. Skip is the architect

You can't be serious! Skip BUILT all of this out of next to nothing. Jay is a damn strong coach, who I hope continues to win. However, Jay is maintaining the excellence of a program Skip built. You cannot compare the two.
