Yep, I agree with almost everything outside of the conspiracy theory paragraph.

In the end, I suspect this time next year we won’t have Wade, Alleva, or King.

Wade probably committed a violation. (I hope not! I love his coaching!).

LSU responded, IMO, with a heavy handed meeting with BOS, Attorneys and the NCAA after cancelling a meeting with Wade, Alleva and King.

After that, both parties have been an exercise in how not to handle a crisis.

But, LSU is supposed to be the leader in this. Getting into a public back and forth is a really bad look. Even those that are 100% behind the Admin have to see this.

For that reason, I think they all will end up separated from LSU.

Waiting two months to get all the facts is not unreasonable.

You don't have the right to tell your employer "hey, wait 2 months, then I'll answer your questions."

he is a potential material witness in a federal trial and would be a fool to comment on issues involved in the trial

"Potential" = WW may not even be called as a witness.
Why would he "be a fool to comment?" JA is not a judge. WW is not on trial. The ONLY person advising WW not to speak to his employer is his lawyer. WW has no legal right, or legal reason to violate his contract with LSU (which states that he MUST cooperate with LSU, NCAA and SEC investigations).

So? Just because Auburn might be stupid does not mean LSU should be stupid as well.

Why would he "be a fool to comment?

Because every lawyer that has commented in these dozens of threads have admitted as much and Wade's lawyer agrees. He's not legally permitted from speaking but it is not advised.

He will cooperate, in April. What's your hurry? The FBI investigation has implicated over 50 programs. The NCAA isn't moving on this issue before April , if ever. If they sanction all the schools involved, they'll go bankrupt.

How do you know?

How do I know he will be hard pressed to explain his wiretapped call? Common sense (and 30 years of experience as a courtroom lawyer) tells me, he could easily issue a public statement— even with lawyer’s advice—that says, “I have done nothing wrong. I did not and have not violated any NCAA rule.” So far, after the latest leak, WW has not done that. And every explanation by ranters, here, has not been very convincing.

Even with that, his lawyer could issue a statement— saying his client has done nothing wrong.

Your point on this one is retarded. The contention wasn’t that it was illegal.

You posted GG saying it was not illegal.

Did Wade or his attorneys state it was illegal?

Really??? Lawyers??? You really think "dozens" of lawyers are hanging out on TD giving legal advice? Please.

Not advised from "HIS" lawyer. This is NOT a legal matter for WW. This is an NCAA/contractual matter with his employer. When will ya'll get that through your heads?
quote:

He will cooperate, in April. What's your hurry?

I'm not in a hurry. WW's employer wants answers NOW, NOT LATER. WW signed a contract stating he would cooperate with all parties NOW, NOT LATER. WW in the employee......he does not get to make the rules or change the wording of a contract he already signed.

Nope. Just follow the content of the contract he signed.
