Correct me if I'm wrong, but are baseball players allowed to be drafted and return?

Seems like I always hear about baseball players coming out of high school and getting drafted, then deciding to go the college route instead.
Am i wrong about that? And if not, why is that allowed?
Also: the SEC just started a legal shitstorm. These players left for the NFL fighting for a spot on a practice squad hoping to make a couple thousand a week (at best a roster spot and the league minimum), because they thought they couldn't stay in college and that was their only option.
Chambliss knew he couldn't stay in college and sued to stay in because he knows he's not going to make it in the NFL and that he's never going to make the salary that Ole Miss is paying him in the NFL.
The 2 being banned left because they thought they were following the rules, and the one being permitted to play said "frick the rules."
That's a good lesson for the SEC to teach kids

You don’t have option to have name withdrawn from MLB draft like football. Just need to be draft eligible.

Four-Year College Players:
Players attending a four-year university are eligible after completing their junior year or once they turn 21 years old.
Junior College Players:
Players at junior colleges are eligible after completing at least one year of junior college.
