It probably is for can they kick them out by sighting this specific instance that the state said sec can’t act on lsu negatively over.

Thats the only reason to bring it to court at all is bc of this specific instance which i believe will get tossed bc of state decision. Sec just wants clarification for there vote so they know if they can included events from 5 for 5 as an additional reason.

Is the vote on IF they CAN kick LSU out OR is the vote TO kick LSU out.
LSU is the biggest dog they can bully. This will be a Texas, Alabama, UGA communism like take-over with OU, Tenn, and Aub getting promises. The other members better take notice, that if this could happen to a top 10 all sports national brand (Top 8 All Sports NC and Top 6 most viewed FB this century), then you'll will forever be "yes men" to the big 3. Texas is a cancer and the reasons why numerous programs bolted from their conferences. The plan was to get Texas/OU in the league, expel LSU to irrelevance and prosper on Louisiana athletes. Nothing else makes sense.

Before the SEC could ever do anything to LSU sankey would have to win his federal court case.
If they lose the federal court case, they are all in contempt of the restraining order from the Louisiana Court

I think this is all now getting the federal courts involved so any decision goes to all NCAA teams. So you don’t have each conference each state having a different rule.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider a vote.
That vote would be non specific to LSU regardless of what all media is reporting.
That vote would be to give the conference the ability to remove a non compliant member if it chooses to.
Any institution that votes for this is voting to give the SEC more power over them in the future should they disagree with the SEC.

It's a bluff to try to force the LSU administration to put a muzzle on Kiffin or face severe penalties up to and including expulsion from the league.

That being said I think we need to tell Sankey to EABOD's.

So it would be the same as impeaching a president and not removing him from office?

That’s how I understand it as well. It’s not a vote to kick out LSU, it’s a vote to give the SEC the power to kick out LSU if they want.

If that's true then why would anyone vote yes? That's basically saying "yes, the SEC commissioner can kick a school out of the conference anytime he wants for any reason"

Lane did nothing wrong , except win Bigly !! All these other schools were recruiting “ pros “ if you want to call them that . Chambliss was given an extra year of eligibility because he had his tonsils out !! Lane did not put them on the roster , unlike Texas and their O lineman .
