Well, OM dominated LSU in every way. It won't be the last time.

You won your super bowl. This is the pinnacle of your success. Enjoy it.

The Lane Train will be departing soon

LSU will be back and maybe in 5 or so years y’all will beat us again.

You know. We know. Everyone knows it.

I always thought the sign was photoshopped until I saw it yesterday. Then I laughed

Congratulations on beating LSU's worst team since 1999. What's embarrassing for you is that LSU's second-worst team since 1999 beat you last year, and that it took you 6 tries to beat Ed Orgeron. I'd be embarrassed as hell to be 1-5 against Orgeron.

It's a good thing for you that you won this year. Because the next head football coach at LSU will be competent and we'll be back to kicking your lame Ole Miss arse on a regular basis. Also know that we'll take your head coach if we want him, and we won't take him if we don't want him (and we don't, we can do so much better). So keep that in mind about where your program truly lives in the SEC pecking order.

So enjoy your victory. I'm sure you'll claim another fake championship for 2021 because of it. Now run along back to the kids table where you runts belong.

I don’t get it. How do they justify that? Just had a good record? Can’t remember…

If they win out this year and Bama wins out, they’ll put a 2021 SEC West Division Champs next to that one.

Just be thankful they didn’t hang “2003 SEC Champions” based on the fact that they didn’t lose the SEC championship game.

Well, that has absolutely zero to do with that hilariously embarrassing 2003 banner

Can’t get past these 2 stats:

-Ole Miss hasn’t won the SEC since 1963
-Ole Miss has never played in the SEC title game (been around since 1992)

Two things

Their fans are delusional. Believe they are getting Arch and that Kiffen will be around for his entire time there and then he might leave for something better. I do give them credit that they believe he will leave for a better job eventually. Fans around me (in ole miss section) kept messing with me after every TD. It was like they had to really enjoy this win because it had been so long.

The atmosphere was kind of meh. Not very loud at all. Glorified high school stadium.

If anyone is insecure, it's a team permanently making a big part of the ribbon board in their stadium boasting "2003 West 'Champions' when anyone who has followed LSU football for a while knows that isn't the case. We beat them that year, then UGA again(in Atlanta where the SEC champions from the West and East) play each other, and LSU went on to beat OU and raise the crystal football.

Has nothing to do with the loss on Saturday. They beat us straight up. Not denying that.

What this thread is about is what they did in 2003, after we beat them. In that same stadium. You either are SEC West champions or you aren't. You aren't kinda SEC West champions.

We had the same conference record. We went to Atlanta because we beat them head to head

LSU is the worst when they beat you. They're even worse when you beat them.

In fairness to Ole Miss, they are technically correct in "claiming" a Western Division championship in 2003.

LSU has been the Western Division champion by that standard a total of 9 times, but has gone to Atlanta 6 times as the representative of the division in the SECCG.

SEC Division Champions 1992-2020

It's a lot more fun to put up SEC Champion dates (of which we have plenty), though, so I'm glad we don't claim 1996, 1997, and 2002 on the stadium.
