It's actually a town in South Africa now. was once a place where a bunch of Obama supporters killed some english white guys back in the day.

el tigre - i don't know why you are under the impression that I know. I never played rugby at LSU. In previous posts there was two possibilities brought up regarding what it means.

If I were a betting man, it means 'At the place of He who Kills-With Affection' or 'place of slaughter'.

But I will defer to the rugby players to finalize the answer.

And support the Tigers even if I rubbed you the wrong way.

interesting... I played Jesuit OL but didn't ever hear Bulawayo until I got to LSU and started playing rugby. What years are you referring to? You went to Jesuit or played against them?

Bulawayo

Good luck guys...I got introduced to Rugby at Camp Pendleton and played for the USMC for a little while before coming to LSU.
Then I played for LSU in the mid 80's for just a couple of semesters. Never made it on the A team, but the B team was still rockin back then.

I would love to see a rugby team start at St Pauls in Covington...if anyone is interested, I would like to lend my support. Just contact me through the Broken Egg.

i went to Jesuit, the year it started there was 2004

i still have the shirt i wore to a couple games..has the word on it

i had never heard of it until 04' when i graduated and it was probably the only year they used it, then i just started hearing the rugby team use it and i graduated with quite a few guys that year that ended up on the rugby team, so i just assumed they transferred it over

There is a group of guys trying to start something up on the Northshore. Meeting on Wednesday nights at 6pm at Mandeville high school at the practice fields to play touch rugby. The ultimate goal is to end up with some high school programs over there.

I play Rugby over at SLU.

This LSU team isn't that good. We were right there w/ them and they got every single freaking call. We didn't even shake hands after the game.
