When I see that Kentucky is hosting for only its third time ever, it makes me realize how spoiled we are to expect to host a regional every year.

Jay is a dawg! Dudes relentless and had made CWS with fkn Arizona. I like LSU’s chances with this dude at the helm. Back to back 40+ win seasons and in top 4 in SEC 2 years ina row

I think Jay is a great coach but not sure where you get that comment about Arizona . Arizona is a blue blood baseball school .

Both Paul and Jay are great coaches. No need to pit them against each other. People can be fans of both.

It’s kind of weird. He and Skip retired around the same time. They both seemed exhausted at the end but Skip probably could have been successful for another 5 years. Paul was done, the program was trending downward and if anything JJ has improved it. It’s hard winning a national championship but LSU is better than Paul left it.

They have four natties and was a base hit away from number 5 when Jay was there. Absolute blue blood, sun devils too

Before that they had only been in 2012 and 2004 fairly recently.

I suppose so. 2012 only semi recently. Arizona St definitely has a nice history with 5 as well, but not as recent as Arizona.
