My head says 5/10. These are two teams that seem very similar so the home team has the most advantage.

My heart says 8/10. Im ready to be hurt again.

Way to go out in a limb staring a thread. You suck and I’ll stand by that.

Your though provoking post really shows wheres you stand. Pussy

Woe be upon you, who have skittles in your nethers,
You worrywarts who dare not dream, who doth not hope,
You'll be dissatisfied no matter the outcome,

I will draw my sword and rush headlong into the heedless horde!
I shall scream TIGER BAIT until my lungs burst and my heart drops,

What have I to lose!? Dignity?
I HAVE NONE!
I've suffered five season openers lost. You think being wrong a sixth time will kill me!?

NAY! I will don my purple, bear my gold, and GIVE NO QUARTER!

There's only one way to start a season. Bearing your breast and giving nothing to despair!

For now, we are undefeated, and only cowards trod into battle with their tail tucked between their legs!

If you are lacking confidence, true Tigers should have some to lend to you gormless, feckless, foul forms of fecundity!

I wake up every morning and laugh at the Devil who made the misstep of failing to take me in the night.

Because if I rise in the morning it means I have a chance to stick a thumb in his eye.

For it means it's one more morning I rise an LSU TIGER!
And you will hear me ROAR!

The thing that concerns me is coaching and being on the road.

I know this sounds crazy, but what has Dabo done lately? He has lost the last 2 opening games by a combined 52 points. Yes Ga was one of them, but Duke was the other. I'm not saying BK has done much better, but I think both have a lot to prove right now.

Yes, the road is what worries me the most.

I started out about a 3/10 but the more I hear about camp and learn about Clemson the more confident I grow. I’m currently sitting at a solid 6.5/10 but I’m a couple of decent OL days from being a 9/10.

I’m ready to be hurt again.

4 out of 10. My biggest concern is the O line on the road in the first game.

Beyond that I am afraid that so much emphasis is being put on the first game that if they do lose it totally kills their spirit and leads to collapse.

0, CBK has shown he can't get the team ready for week 1 & and I'll have zero confidence until he proves me wrong.

.

I said 4 out of 10 earlier with the same reason. However, I disagree on your second point. Fans put more emphasis on the opening game than commentators or team members. Of course, the coaches are revving up the team for the opening game...just like every single coach in America does. But last year LSU lost the first game to much less hyped up team and then turned around and rattled off 6 straight wins including quality opponents like S Carolina and Ole Miss. The ONLY way a loss is a crushing one is if the margin is like 3 scores or LSU suffered major injuries. Otherwise, move on the 2nd game. I'm not OCD on the opening game like some posters here are.
