Disappointed, but it's baseball. We won the natty last year with practically a bell to bell performance. Anything is going to come up short against that season. Sometimes it takes time for a team to gel and grow. Do I expect them to repeat? No, but I never did. They will look better by season's end. It's LSU baseball. Even at it's worst, it's better than more than half the programs out there.

I am disappointed only because I put unreal expectations on a squad that lost a shite ton of not only offensive production, but experience. They’re young and haven’t played together very long. They’ll get better. Better probably won’t be better enough to truly make a run and that’s okay. We’re not going to be world beaters every single year.

Frustrated, but I realize they’re replacing an all-star team. I think this group was closer these past couple days than they were Sat/Sun of last weekend. They just need to get over the hump together. I’ll buy low and say they win the Vandy series next weekend

Neither. I’m still living high because we’re still the defending champions and we can’t win it every year.
I’m also in the realization that we lost a lot, so repeating that success was going to be a huge challenge.

Disappointed. I knew replacing all we lost from last year was gonna be tough but thought we had the young talent to win a bunch of games and give teams trouble. Thought the inexperience would cause alot of ups and downs for us but its been alot of downs lately. That said, im not ready to give up on them. I think they will figure things out but its taking a bit longer than id hoped for.
