Kelly is definitely a more polished passer, but Hurts maintains his composure much better than Kelly.
Jalen Hurts has played in THREE true road games.... and the teams he played in those road games have a combined 13-11 record... that's a .541 winning %
You don't know jack shite about his composure
You do however, know about Chad Kelly's composure

Well if we're being honest...yes I do. You see, I dont believe young Eli is here to have legitimate and meaningful conversation. I believe he is here to stir the pot of course.....as his brethren do on the SEC Rant. He wants to appear magnanimous and friendly, offering an olive branch before the big game so that he can come on here and gloat afterwards should the refs hold true to form and award the game to the Gumps.
I have no time for such rot. My only response to the Gumps is this....
Any questions?

I'm with you! Gumps need to be confined to the SEC Rant. Not here.

Bama oline is much better than Ole Miss' though. We won't get very many free shots at Hurts and his ability to scramble is much better than Kelly's. It's going to be a tough night and LSU will have to play an almost perfect game to win.
Biggest myth. No they don't. We need to play solid and limit turnovers. Then the chips will fall where they may. Stop that bullshite about playing perfect. WE ARE LSU!!!

Yes, yes we do! frick him, frick you, & most of all frick Alabama

No doubt that Hurts is very poised for a true freshman. Although, I believe that a few hard knockdowns and an early turnover will mess with his game.
The defense will be ready along with 7 and the rest of the team.
Welcome to Death Valley baw

yes they will,they always have.

Jalen Hurts will get rattled...
He will and sucks as a passer anyway.
Our wide receivers have a definite advantage on your corners.
So all those myths are in fact....well as fact.

Of course they will if you line up 22 and all but WR stays home. Who wouldn't?
Saban doesn't really like gambling on D and usually uses FS help.
Sure, if FS reads run he's taught to crash, but that's not loading box, just football.

Funny besides the load the box myth I havnt seen anybody on this board even mention the other 2. Hurts can't throw has been said and that's no myth.
Posted on 10/31/16 at 4:54 pm to Madking
The don't load the box per say, but in the past against LSU as soon as the ball is snapped those safeties are flying up for run support. LSU will have to make them pay. Les constantly kept his TEs tight to block.

I think the OP had a good post. I do believe that at some point this season, Hurts is going to have a really bad game. Freshman gonna be freshman. Hoping it's this Saturday.

Nice Post for a Gump - I'm being honest...it was well written & thought out. You're a little smug, and a troll - and you should probably be working instead of on a message board. But I digress. That being said - may I retort?
1. Bama will load the box to stop the run...
- I hate to agree with you but I've been saying this for a while. Bama's defense is a lot speedier and slicker than the Bama defenses of yester-year. Satan is calling a lot more nickel packages, shifting linebackers and defensive ends, sometimes 5 DBs and 2 linebackers. Lot's of different looks.
2. Jalen Hurts will get rattled...
-While he is poised, has some grit, and seems to have the ability to "move on" after plays - he has still seen nothing like Death Valley. Nothing can compare to the crowd of 102,000 people screaming at the top of their lungs. The crowd that has been fueling up and anticipating since the wee hours of the morning. Going through their rituals, starting to drink at about 9 in the morning when they setup their tents, cooking their gumbo and firing up the pits. It's like every experience is a new experience at the LSU tailgate party. Call it Death Valley. Call it Deaf Valley. It doesn’t matter. Tiger Stadium is loud, and it is one of the most intimidating stadiums in college football. Anyone that's ever played there can attest to that. He WILL get rattled.
3. Bama's corners can't play man-to-man...
-I mean you'd be silly not to respect all 11 guys on the field at all times. The fans may not, but I can guarantee you the LSU coaches do. I think they match up well. The real question is will Etling have enough time to throw the ball - because literally that has been the Achilles heel of Alabama. We all know they've gotten scorched in the air - notably from Ole Miss. I believe LSU D matches well with Bama's offense, and vice versa. Bama's corners will look good if the D-line plays good - plain and simple. But if LSU's O-Line continues to get better, as they have, then the corners shouldn't be an issue with the speed and NFL talent LSU has with their receivers.
I believe it's a fairly low scoring game. I believe the Death Valley mystique comes back in full force for this game. I believe the LSU Tigers have completely bought into themselves winning this game, unlike times before where we lost before we ever got started.
LSU 26 - Bama 20

Yeah we'll see how composed he is with that 6'6 250 lb winged jet is flying toward him on every play. Then when he looks down field he'll see nothing but tiger defenders all over those WRs. One thing I'm certain of and that's bama offense not having much success lol. Oh and it's DV and he will know where he's at come Sat. Hell even AJ and Tebow had rough outings in DV. Come on now this guys gonna light it up huh lmfao
