Does this mean all Tennessee games will now start at 11:00, with Dave Neal on the call?

If you’re gonna do this then this is the right way to do it. We’re in the same financial boat as Tennessee athletics. It’s bound to happen.

The only thing I ask is that they select a partner that has ties to LSU or Louisiana. Like Zatarains, Tonys, Tabasco, Walkons etc.

Berkshire Hathaway owns Pilot now, but it’s a Haslam company. Big Bill has run the Tennessee football program for decades like a NFL owner. He wants to put his old company’s name on the field, I’m just surprised it hasn’t happened sooner.

Nothing is sacred anymore. With team revenue sharing coming, I think this is inevitable for all of us. Tiger Stadium presenting rights will probably be sold.

I don’t really like it that much either but coach buyouts, stadium upgrades, stadium maintenance, facility upgrades, coaching salaries, recruiting, travel, athletic nutrition programs, etc., don’t pay for themselves. CFB is now an arms race more than ever with the emergence of superconferences so it’s either get on board or get left behind.

As long as it would be done like Tenn. Where the stadium name and field name doesn't change, it wouldn't be the end of the world.

Knoxville along when Athens are the best road trips within the conference in my opinion.

lol. Boring is as boring does, I reckon.

Athens is the hands-down most overrated experience of all and the city of Knoxville in general is where fun goes to die.

Well it does makes alot of sense. Jerry Haslam owns the company, along with the Browns. Probably the richest donor Tennessee has.

This is gayer than just calling it Pilot Stadium.

You do realize they are PAYING players now.

After that, I’ve given up on caring about anything ‘sacred’.

They can put the Bucc-ee’s logo on the helmets and call it Morris Bart Stadium for all i care.
