They tried this combo the last time they were here and it was underwhelming. Besides, MLB will still be in season on September 7th.

Fine, I’ll settle for only Livvy in her Baywatch suit then!

I would love Joe or Chase being asked. With a week before the NFL season they should have availability. Otherwise Jay, Mulkey, or Wade would be a good pick.

shite Tyrann could be a good ask too with him being retired now.

Damn straight ! What would be better than having CEO picking week 3? Ole Miss people despise him and Coach Kiff. The melt would be epic!

Honey Badger, Coach O, Burrow/Chase, Daniels, and Fournette are good ones I can see as being realistic.

I think WNBA is going on then too.

WNBA is taking a 2.5 week break in the schedule around that time because of the FIBA World Cup.

So its possible that Flaujae would be available since I don't think she's on the team USA roster.

doesn't ESPN usually pick some "celebrity" that's somehow related to the town or school, but not actual former football players or coaches?

I'm sure there have been some, but that's not usually ESPN's focus.

They should try to get Drew Brees. He'll be fresh off the HOF induction and I remember him saying a while back that his son wanted to go to LSU.

If retired NFL is in the mix, then you have to consider Big Whit. Not as flashy as some of the suggestions but he is very underrated and a first-class representative of the University.

quote:

Andrew James Whitworth is a retired American football offensive tackle who played 16 NFL seasons, 11 with the Cincinnati Bengals and five with the Los Angeles Rams. A four-time Pro Bowler and two-time first-team All-Pro, he won Super Bowl LVI in his final game at age 40, becoming the oldest offensive lineman to win a title. The 2021 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year, he is noted for his durability, leadership, and extensive community work.

THIS! It would be over the top and send the place into a frenzy.

NFL season starts Thurs 10 Sept. The GAME is Sat 5 Sept. Make it happen LSU, please make it happen

Paul Skenes, Honey Badger, Brandon Landry, Alex Bregman, Todd Graves all could be good in that spot!
