Their RPI was 17 before ND. So it made a pretty good jump.

College baseball is down big time this year because the Tigers don't look like a top ten team to me.

It is down out west but the SEC and ACC might be the strongest combined that they have ever been. LSU on some days look like a top ten team and others they don't. This LSU team is very talented and are winning a lot of games in many different ways so it makes it tough to read exactly how good they are. One day or week they have dominant pitching and ok hitting then the next they flip. They put a lot of pressure on a defense offensively with contact and speed and field the ball very well making the other teams earn their runs. That is a solid combination even if it isn't how LSU has won in the past.

not that I give 2 shits, but how the hell does U La La drop out of the rankings after beating the #1 team in the sunbelt, USA???

I also love the hate for Tulane in this poll.

Anyway, I'm thinking that this poll is dated correctly but wrong..??

They're shown at #23 in the Coaches Poll.

They had the biggest move UP, 13 places to #16.

If LSU wins the series against Florida and has a decent showing in the SECT, will they get a #7-8 national seed?

The USA Today website, much like their poll, leaves something to be desired.

Tulane got absolutely jobbed by them last week. Funny how when Tulane went 3-0 last week on the road, having won 9 of its last ten, including LSU and SMiss, and they were 28. 28.

We go 4-1 beating Southern, UNO, and take 2/3 at home from a bad Memphis team, and thats the reason to suddenly shoot us up into the teens? Seriously?

If I actually bought paper copies of USA Today I'd keep it on hand in case I ran out of arse-wipe. But that would require giving them money for their rag of a paper.
