I am not discouraged, I am just saying it did not really tell us anything.

I will say though their approach at the plate does seem a little more disciplined. Other than Stanfield swinging at that one in his eyes, they didn’t chase much

They do have depth on the mound. That's what I like to see most.
They do and we will see how good they are in about a month

LSU may have only played 4 cupcake games, but there’s no denying this is the most stacked, depth wise this team has been under Coach Jay Johnson.
Amazing how the tradition of LSU and NIL can do that. What a combo.

It feels like I’ve heard this before. Let’s get about 3 SEC series in before we go there.

You could be right but this has been the start every year under JJ.

I love your enthusiasm, but you clearly are ignorant to the level of parity amongst the biggest programs of college baseball.

can only think of one and that was only marginally better.
Which team? How much baseball did you watch last weekend?

Tennessee, they were better at the plate, but not as good on the mound.
I look at stats, how much did you watch, and who do you think was better than LSU this weekend/

And be realistic - if you watched the games so far and don’t think Curiel and Dickinson and are studs you are just being contrarian.
Studs? Based on what? Crudhing mid to high 80s fastballs and a hanging curve? Sorry, ill hold my judgement.
They both have potential

Jesus Christ couldn’t hit a curve ball though. Our guys can.

Tennessee has been the better power hitting team (12 HR vs our 5HR), but damn I just looked at the box score for their 29-4 win over UNC Asheville, and UNC-A walked 22 batters in a 7 inning game. That’s got to be a record.

If you see Curiel and think Crews, you need to watch more baseball and get a few more references built up if you want to make comps.
