Adam posted a great idea at the top of page 4 of this thread. Don't reply to the dumbass.

We've all seen his ignorance displayed in numerous threads. He parrots the same crap in every thread pretending to be a baseball expert but can't answer simple questions about LSU baseball.

All he wants is attention from other posters. Don't give it to him.

Gavin Dugas is set to return this weekend, and Paul Mainieri is toying with the idea of starting him after he hit the ball with "amazing authority" in BP.

Probably a little of column A and a little of column B.

It will help the cause if BOTH Hess and Walker have strong outings.

Just need to cobble together 27 innings this weekend somehow.

Before we can do the math, you need to tell us how many pitchers LSU has that are hurt and how many came to LSU hurt

There are two possible reasons for going into a discussion with a group of people that all have different thoughts than you do.

1. Echo chamber, like you said

2. You're a fricking moron

I'll go with #2

My kid plays travel ball. I just looked up the stats, the leading inning pitcher has pitched 19 innings since February, 333 pitches.

He will probably end up with 40 innings this year. So you are looking at about 700 pitches over 5 months. Then he will pitch again in games next February. That is the vast majority of travel ball at younger ages. Yes, there are a minority of coaches that throw kids entirely too much...but that is not the case with most. Almost all teams have 6 or 6 pitchers are so to throw about 20-24 innings per weekend (most games go 5 innings due to time limits)

I just dont see this complete disregard for the kids arms.

Hell, my 12 year old year, I threw 55 innings not counting All Stars. We played from March to July.

I threw 7452 innings of cup ball and wiffle ball between games.

It’s not necessarily being over pitched during travel ball, although a lot of kids are or at least were when I was playing the early ‘00s., its the year around schedule.

The elite kids are pitching in travel ball, school ball or showcases practically year around. Their arm never has any down time to rest and heal after the season because there never is a post-season.

So you admit to knowing lsu coaches were abusing the players arms before lsu started having this problem? Yeah, you dont have an axe to grind..
