If he's using the series history in the rationale, there's an important factor for this game that will be different from many of the past games that Arkansas won, or kept close. The weather.

If the Brooks situation was going to distract the team, it would have been last week playing our first SEC road game. This is a stupid statement, because Cubelic should know the team knew all about what was going on with him right after it happened. They didn’t just find out the details like the public did this week.
As for Arkansas’ defense, it’s better than State’s, but they haven’t played any great teams and BYU was able to make plays on them when it mattered. I have a feeling our guys are just a little better than BYU’s.
He going to look just like Josh Pate and all the others who took the points with State last weekend.

That’s not what he said. He said that if Arkansas does certain things they have a chance for an upset or to at least keep it close. He did not predict an Arkansas win.

I listen to Coles show and he didn’t say that.
I just relistened to his picks and he said IF LSU comes out flat he could see Arkansas staying within the spread and making it close until the 4th quarter
