Anyone else see this story on the kid Owen Hanson (backup QB at USC under Pete Carroll)? I knew USC was busted because of everything involving Reggie Bush, but what I didn’t know is that at that same time, this Hanson kid was supplying his USC teammates with recreational drugs and steroids from Mexico. If ya ain’t cheatin, ya ain’t tryin, huh, Pete??
The Owen Hanson kid continued on down his drug smuggling path hence the nickname “Cocaine Quarterback.” The story stood out to me since we shared a national title with these roided up Trojans.

You didnt know Petes teams were juiced to the gourd???
For fricks sake, u even pay attention to CFB? We posted about how juiced their Linebacker was back then , he came in skinny and wr material, left ripped and killing rb's etc. Petey ran it like a NFL team, roids, payments, salaries,etc.

Was a pretty solid assumption of mine, yeah. What I said I just learned is that the supplier was the backup QB/former volleyball player doing runs to Tijuana for them.

Every team was. I went on five visits in the late 90’s Tennessee, Alabama, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina and every single one of them I talked to current players who were juicing (I was already on them in high school) Miami made it very clear it would be very easy to obtain steroids if I played there. The other threw out some big hints. Georgia Tech had some nerd student that was making Tren and other stuff for half the football team out of one of the labs on campus secretly. I talked to people that went on visits to Vanderbilt and even they had players juicing back then and they were terrible

I watched it. At first I thought the dude was a retard but he was actually pretty intelligent and entrepreneurially. Started making protein ice cream in prison and turned it into a legit business when he got out.

He’s comes off as the biggest douchebag ever. When he did his first podcast I listened and came away thinking this dude was full of himself and also full of shite. I tend to think some of his stories are overdramatized
