Okie dokie’s offense is based on the run. With a large part of this being the QB running the ball. Last year they beat us because of the run game (fricking option killed us). Everyone keeps talking about Trask and his knee. I can promise you Okie dokie will use Emery Jones to run the ball and keep our offense off the field. I feel that if we stifle the run we will win easily. What is the rants opinion?

Honestly I think it plays right into our hands.
There’s been a few times we allowed some big runs, but when our players have come to play 100%, we may have not been getting to the QB as much as we’d like, but damit they’ve stuffed the run pretty well. (Allowed 0.9 ypc last week)

I also agree with you. I believe he does play into our hands.

Good thing we got some experience with it against Ga. Southern.

Their O line left.
Their QB is dinged.
It’s Saturday Night in Tiger Stadium.
Bourbon and beer will be smelled on the field.
Gaytor, it’s what’s for dinner!

If we can stuff their running game and prevent the big pass play we’ll win. I don’t see their QB’s being able to keep drives going throwing the ball.

Trask will not beat us with his arm. He may get some success on short routes, but he's not a threat to stretch the D. I was shocked when Mullen still ran him after he came back with the brace. I bet they have spent the last week working on special packages for Emory Jones. I thin he plays a good bit. If we stop Perine and Jones their offense will be totally ineffective.
