Miss, except he brought in some good coordinators and players.
I mean half of them were left overs from Les on both sides. When it was all his idea on coaches and players we failed. That was the real Ed Orgeron.

I won’t post my full opinion of this buffoon bc it’s pointless, but I’ll say I’m just glad he’s no longer employed by LSU.

You watch that video and wonder how anyone could ever think this guy is capable of running a program like lsu. What a clown. Good for him and his money which I’m sure he will blow in a few years

I hope Coach O never changes.

I love the way Woodward handled it. As hard as it was to keep O around he deserved respect. Something Les was not given. O has never spoke negatively about LSU and never will.
He isn’t cut out to be the HC of a major program longer than he was. That’s why he is the best interim coach. Other than 2019, He will be remembered for coming in and pumping energy into the program. Some good some bad. Look back at 16,17,18,20,21 O has at least 1 upset in each of those seasons. You just knew he could somehow rally the troops for an upset no matter how bad the team was at that point.
After they lost to Troy, they come out and beat Florida in the swamp.

Plus he’s riding Brandy. Not bad.

Shrimp Boat Captain that would be a position coach if not for Burrow, Brady and Aranda. No respect for the alligator snapping turtle looking little bitch.

So did he really get the full buyout or a lesser amount?
(poster on page 1 says he got 8.55 million)

Yet you guys think Scott is a f’ing wizard
Not at all. Woodward is good at throwing around money. Notably, other peoples money.

I expect the response from the thread will shite on him for this comment but he went out gracefully, didn't make a big stink, has been complimentary of LSU and how it was handled.
Yea but is the still technically employed by LSU with some agreements on the payout? Like if the NCAA comes knocking, LSU can release without cause and stuff.
If so, then of course he is complementary,

My sentiments exactly!
We had a LOT more good times with Orgeron than bad, and people keep forgetting he had a 10-3 season in Burrow's first year, and 15-0 Burrow's second. Not to mention we had a nine win season with DANNY ETLING of all people, as our QB. He did a great job overall, but when Scott let him go it was time.

I was at both playoff games in 2019, I am not saying shite about him.
The problem with 99% of you is that you don’t really know what a HC in college really does. 90% of the work is done by coordinators, and assistant coaches. If you give me Saban and shitty OC, DC he sucks too. Miles and Bebe with great OC/DC won Nattys.
CBK will only succeed if he has the right OC/DC period. They are really more important than your HC

He looked and sounded like a drunken idiot.

In 2016 they were extremely close to a NY6 bowl appearance. He came in and cleaned it up after starting with 2 losses under Miles.

good riddance. dude chase tail for two years while the program burned.

Ed is a salesman, nothing else. He knows his crowd and works them well. He had a couple of “decent” players in 2019 and the starts aligned for him. Not even O could frick up Burrow, Jefferson, Chase, Clyde, etc.

The "one of us" propaganda line was deviously effective. There are still folks on here who support him despite his utter destruction of the program.
