that dude tore something in his back.. look at how he froze and the angle he was at... he got his back bent to far backwards

From that description it sounds like an abdominal strain.

This is not true. This is like saying the CEO of a hospital could tell you someone’s diagnosis because they aren’t medical staff.

Not at all true, it depends on how the training staff is classified by the university. Additionally, even still, HIPAA only plays a part if the patient refuses too allow the information to be released.

Here is a pretty good article regarding the confusion surrounding HIPAA and FERPA (which can also restrict what the University can share).

Well, it was something that got aggravated every single game. I never saw him limp, it did look like more of a back or stomach issue. Obviously, it got worse. Hopefully, he will be back for the bowl and next season.

Didn't mean to cause such a stir and debate about HIPAA and the disclosure of injuries. HIPAA or not, I guess the trend these days is not to reveal injuries to key players which may give opposing teams an advantage or influence national projections and rankings. I was just asking as an interested fan. It's disappointing after all he's been through that he's not going to finish the season.

What is Kristian's actual injury? Why does O have to be so cryptic?
1) A team might be able to take advantage when he returns.

For example, this past week vs the Eagles, Payton knew that Sidney Jones was coming back from a hamstring injury and felt that he might still feel the effects of it. They gameplanned to run right at him in the opening plays of the game and pick on him specifically. As a result, they gained huge yards, scored and eventually ran him off the field after exacerbating the injury.

2) It's none of your business.

This is simply false, not true, incorrect, and wrong.

I guess it depends on the player. We all know Fehoko tore his bicep.

Think it’s officially ankles but he got bent over backward when the receiver fell back against him in the end zone and his Fulton was on his knees with his feet caught in an awkward spot. Looked very bad on the replay and I would imagine he s gonna be out for awhile.

I was suspecting a muscle tear or tendon damage. Remember when Travin Dural landed on his back and the way he landed resulted in tearing his hamstring under his own weight.

Fulton looked like something got overstretched and could have been ankle or back or both.

So his injury is anywhere between a sprained ankle to a broken back. Cool
